The orange felon king only has one script and that is everything is all about himself. If he tries to pretend it's not about himself it is still about himself as he is only doing that to impress others (because he wants something from them) that he cares about something other than himself when he doesn't.

I don't see much difference between Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump. The Republican Party needs to understand their responsibility in regard to America's place in the world. Both presidents exploded the deficit and promoted war. Reagan did the whole Iran-Contra thing and Trump massaged Putin's ego during the World Cup. Why did the world celebrate the World Cup in Russia while Russia invaded Ukraine and shot down passenger planes? I don't get it.

It may be that Trump will suffer the same dementia that Regan suffered but Regan actually cared about others and had a good relationship with his wife. Regan spoke out against the KKK. Regan had high approval ratings and didn't try to dismantle democracy.

I couldn't say whether or not Reagan actually suffered dementia, because it was likely just an excuse to cover up the fact that he had broken the law. It's all optics...gas-lighting. Trump gets shot by one of his own supporters and yells,"fight, fight..." His fans love it. He lost handily in 2020 and cried fowl. He sues 90 Minutes because he thought they might have helped his opponent look better. Uhm...isn't that what OAN and Fox do every single day?

Either way, this bully pulpit that Trump, and the Republican Party, has embodied...is just wrong. I hope the House and Senate will soon be retaken by sober minds.
