Damn New Mexico just beat #19 Washington St 38-35..

TC got 2 weeks to game plan.

Will he play MA12 and prep him for 2025 or stick with BS13 on Senior Night?

New Mexico is 5-6, a win against Hawaii sends them to a Bowl.

Last year we lost on the road 42-21

I won't know my predictions until QB1 us named

If he can play they should play BS13. Tough to bench a senior with that much playing experience for 2 meaningless games. Have some packages for the other QBs.

NM is averaging 33 points in 11 games. Hawaii is averaging just under 20 points.
NM beat two teams we got pummeled by, being Utah st and Wazu. Also, they edged out SDSU who we also lost to.
We did Hershy squirt our way past Fresno which was our other common opponent. 💩😓
I don't know how deflated our team is feeling right now so it depends on how Coach Chang, Coaches and Captains handles things by keeping their drive and spirits up. No bowl so they need to play hard for the seniors.

Not going to post a score but I'll just say that I'm not feeling very confident, but I hope I'm wrong.

Let's hope #13 doesn't get another yr of eligibility. He's shitty. He waits until ppl are open , no anticipation, zero touch and mostly importantly has zero pocket awareness (will keep dropping back which hurts the OTs blocking). Ppl were open , but he doesn't go through progression.

It's NM's last game too. No Scare - Fearless Prediction...

UH - 14
NM - 38

BS13 to start. MA12 will be inserted in 6 min in the 4th.

End of Timmy Chang era.

With nothing really to play for, I will be curious to see how they come out. If it is non competitive they really have no choice but to change head coached. In the transfer portal and NIL era, coach can remake rosters and become viable programs in 1-2 years. Look at New Mexico and UNLV.

Same here. NM can score. For me UH is just a mystery.

This game should be played to win and not play to practice or make everyone happy. If MA12 is your best bet to win, then start & play him all game.

Finishing 5-7 looks way better than 4-8 (with only 2 D1 wins)

UH Athletics wrote: Series Information: UH leads 16-11
In Honolulu: UH leads 12-6
In Albuquerque: UNM leads 5-4
Last Meeting: UNM, 42-21, Oct. 21, 2023

GAME STORYLINES
》Following the game, a total of 23 seniors will participate in the traditional senior night ceremony, including six-year seniors WR Spencer Curtis, LB Nalu Emerson and Jonah Panoke and seven-year seniors LB Logan Taylor and DL Elijah Robinson. Emerson and Panoke spent all six seasons in Manoa.
》Hawai'i has won its last six Senior Night games and 11 of its last 12. During its six-game win streak, four of the games were decided by one score including the last three (50-45 vs. CSU, 2021; 31-25 vs. UNLV, 2022; 27-24 vs. CSU, 2023).
》UH leads the overall series with New Mexico 16-11, including a 12-6 advantage in games played in Honolulu.
》Hawai'i won the last meeting in Honolulu, 39-33, Nov. 7, 2020 at Aloha Stadium which snapped a four-game home losing streak in the series. The Warriors erased a 20-7 second quarter deficit and totaled 503 yards of offense with four scoring plays of 40 yards or longer.
》Since UH joined the Mountain West in 2012, the teams have met six times with UNM holding a slight 4-2 advantage.
》Both teams were idle last week.
》Under head coach Timmy Chang, UH is 0-4 following bye weeks, including 0-2 this season. Hawai'i, which had one bye week in each of the past two seasons, had three bye weeks this season (Weeks 2, 5, 13).
》UH (4-7, 2-4 MW) last played at Utah State two weeks ago in Logan, Utah falling 55-10. The Warriors threw five interceptions and were sacked seven times in the loss.
》UNM (5-6, 4-3) upset No. 18 Washington State two weeks ago in Albuquerque, N.M., 38-35, keeping its bowl chances alive. The last time the Lobos were bowl eligible was 2016.
》This season marks the second consecutive year that UH can spoil a team's chance for bowl eligibility in the final week of the regular season. Last year, Hawai'i defeated Colorado State, 27-24 in Honolulu on a walk-off field goal.
》UH's Brayden Schager has made 33 consecutive starts, which is a school-record for a quarterback.
》If he does not start on Saturday, true freshman Micah Alejado will likely get the nod becoming the first freshman to start a game at QB since Schager in 2021 vs. Fresno State.

Go Micah Alejado. Let's see what the Bishop Gorman pipeline does for Hawaii. Hawaii lost many close games this year to top contenders. The spread is close for a reason. Imua Hawaii.

I give Schager mad props for sticking it out with the Warriors and after all of those hits. This being said, the offense under his direction has never gotten solid footing and any rhythm. Start Schager as a senior, then insert Alejado if the first two offensive series goes nowhere. And keep Alejado in the rest of the way.

Man I hope we win or it's going to be a somber night 😞
Last game for the Seniors, Angelos, Morrison and possibly more staff associated with the football team.
