Crowdus with his 88 yard TD reception on a bomb from Schager today is making a statement. He's in a crowded group of WRs (Panoke, Perry, Curtis, T. Hines, Pupunu and Crowdus) who are vying for playing time. Crowdus and T. Hines are the speed guys but need to be more consistent.

This is Crowdus about to catch the bomb.

Timmy picked him as a player to watch. Schager bombs?

He was wide open a few times, but they were force feeding Pofele. Nonsense in my book.

Shager doesn't throw to open wide receivers?

In the Run & Shoot I thought it was the receiver's responsibility to read the defense & run a route that gets him open.

Schager appeared to be laser focused on Pofele, but yet was somewhat inaccurate with what, 19 targets and 9 receptions? I was asking throughout the game, "what happened to Crowdus and Nishigaya?"

I had a feeling on this. I wonder if he thinks he could do better. We need to add some transfer WR

This leaves only Cenacle and Ashlock with significant playing time/experience. I hope we don't lose them too.

I thought all of UH's WR would stay (except those who graduated) given the performance last week. 9 different WRs got the ball.

This was not expected.
Was kind of weird this season that Dekel would make a great catch then be on the bench

I'm not sure who makes the decisions. Ursua or Chang regarding when the receivers sub out. It may be based on the plays, but they sure do rotate the receivers a lot. Back in the JJ era the same 4/5 receivers would play just about the entire game unless there was an injury. Maybe if they can go back to keeping the same receivers during the game there would be more consistency? I know it's hard to keep all the players happy when it comes to playing time. Obviously, the TP is always an option now days.
