You got Vandy's 2022 record wrong. They actually went 5-7.st808 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 5:01 pm https://hawaiiathletics.com/sports/foot ... edule/2023

Re: first five games 2023 schedule
Vanderbilt (5-7), but 6 of those L were to #1 George, #5 Alabama, #6 Tennessee, #23 S. Carolina, an 8 win Wake Forest, and an Ole Miss that started 8-1. Most, if not all the MWC schools last year would have gone 0-6 against those 6 teams.

Re: first five games 2023 schedule
The realistic record is 2-3. I went to the Vandy game and the SEC size and speed is real. Ditto for Stanford, a crappy Pac 12 team > mid tier MWC.
My expectation is an improved O and D and a .500 record.

Be humble and confident in yourself and all things you do.

Also RnS needs much in game reps. It won’t be working well in the first half of the season. Interesting history about Mouse Davis, he actually was hired by Cal in his earlier days as OC. But they didn’t keep him very long, he was gone after half a season. Maybe, they should have been more patient.Palolo_2LA wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 11:57 pm The realistic record is 2-3. Re: first five games 2023 schedule
Last year, the first "five" games (passing game) were painful to watch. Make sense because it's a new offense.
We have a new offensive again. It's new to the players. T-Chang is giving fans what they want (RNS). Are fan in the for the long haul?
Back to topic, I think it would be painful to watch as games loss would be because of our own doings, rather than the other team being better.

Re: first five games 2023 schedule
1-4 is a real possibility, but i lean towards 3-2.
Re: first five games 2023 schedule
Hope for the best. Anticipate an agonizing worst. Warrior offense needs to be humming early and often.
Cats don't have owners. Cats have servants.
Re: first five games 2023 schedule
Well...the leading match-ups are much better than last year. The team of coaches should jell by now and so many players look transformative. It's an open book. I predict, with hope, a 4-1 opening season.

Re: 2023 MW football schedules are out
Hawaii gets all three Front Range Schools (AFA, Fort Fart, and UW) in a row at the end of the year.

Re: 2023 MW football schedules are out
schager's "revenge season" statement will make each game much more competitive. warriors are going to need to exceed their physical exercise routines between spring and summer practices, especially for those responsible for pass protection. fatigue is the enemy. exceed your exercise routines.
go warriors.
go warriors.
