A Chong to play for Chang at Ching? Lucky no more Chow. It would have gotten pretty confusing.
Welcome home!
I had to read that twice to appreciate the wit.
Chong entered the portal earlier this month, or perhaps was encouraged to enter el portal, but I think he and Timmy had a close relationship while at Nevada being local boys and all.
I like to see local boy coming home. At the same time, what you guys think? Get chance or what?
At the same time, I would hate to hear that they lost "their chance" maybe to play for their current school by coming home. Sometimes in life, got to tough it out (or I should say, put in the work.)

Jonah should graduate this semester before transferring to the u.h. and retains three years eligibility. he will be a preferred walk on, but comes with known potential and teachable traits as he was recruited to Nevada by Chang and will definitely provide competition for a chance to call the plays in 2023 games at Ching.
he has the legs to extend busted protection, something the u.h. missed this year, an accurate arm when moving out from the pocket, his passes give the receivers a chance to catch the ball and he is able to run the field on busted plays. kind of a chevan cordeiro type of qb.
for me, the 2023 games at Ching will be much more fun to watch and cheer.
Below are players with Hawaii ties who have entered the NCAA transfer portal. Stay with KHON2 as this developing story will be updated.
