Would love to add a WR and a QB. Some good QBs out there that could compete for the starting job
Former Boise State QB Hank Bachmeier’s father says his son had to ‘get the hell out’
Bachmeier came to Boise State as one of the highest-rated recruits in program history. He was a four-star recruit coming out of Murrieta Valley High School in California, and he won the starting job as a true freshman in 2019. He missed six games as a freshman because of injuries, but the Broncos went 7-1 in the games he started. Bachmeier missed two games in 2020 after he tested positive for COVID-19, and he played through a knee injury while leading the Broncos to a 7-5 record last season. Boise State went 20-9 with Bachmeier as the starter. He ranks in the top 10 in program history in career passing yards (6,605, No. 7) and touchdown passes (41, No. 7).
With OT still being among UH's Late Signing Day recruiting priorities, this transfer portal OT might be of interest to UH.....
Kansas State OT Kingsley Ugwu (transfer from Hutchinson Community College where he was selected as a 2020-2021 NJCCA 1st Team All-American OT), originally from Tucson, AZ., with 2 to play 2.
Oklahoma grad transfer dual-threat QB Micah Bowens (who previously transferred from Penn State in January 2021), originally from Las Vegas, NV. (Bishop Gorman HS '20), with 3 to play 3.

Colorado State LB Bam Amina (Mililani HS '20 who transferred back from Bishop Gorman HS after initially playing for Kapolei HS) with 3 to play 3 (for 2023 season).
Possible entry into the transfer portal (when it re-opens on April 15th). Previously offered by UH (under TG). Having redshirted his 2022 true frosh season, he would still have 4 to play 4. Hmmm....

Older brother (and former UH DL) Alema is in his 2nd season as DL GA for UH.
