Looking at Graham's coaching tree, he has always had good offensive assistants. I'm sure he'll find some good assistants.

I would have congratulated Kinne for the new position, but not anymore.

Re: OC GJ Kinne to UCF
I have no issue with any one recruiting the islands, including ppl who formerly coached at UH. Getting the best opportunities to the kids should be deemed the most important thing. Besides, the top recruits usually go away.
Be humble and confident in yourself and all things you do.

Doesn't bother me. They've been recruiting pretty well here for a while.

Also I think the Hawaii kids already on the UCF team are, to a point, helping. I mean do you think Dillion Gabriel ends up at UCF if McKenzie Milton doesn't perhaps drop that hint to the coaches.

He's rising fast in the coaching ranks. 33 and a HC at a D1 school. Incarnate Word is moving up too, from the Southland Conference to the WAC next year.Irse wrote: ↑Mon Dec 20, 2021 11:57 am I know he's a year removed from the program but congrats to him.

Re: G.J. Kinne HC at Texas State
That's great for GJ
Thus guy is incredible and to think some people in Hawaii thought he was over his head.
Every year the guy keeps getting promoted:
SMU (2017)
Graduate assistant
Arkansas (2018)
Offensive analyst
Philadelphia Eagles (2019)
Offensive special projects
Hawaii (2020)
Offensive coordinator & quarterbacks coach
UCF (2021)
Co-offensive coordinator & quarterbacks coach
Incarnate Word (2022)
Head coach
Texas State (2023–present)
Head coach
