I wonder what the coaches see in him?
Madness someone's baby cuzin or we need to offer him to get his teammate?
Just guessing that maybe the coaches might’ve seen this video as an indication of physical potential....’cuz it doesn't appear as though UH offered or is pursuing any current or former teammate.

Just within the past month, UH has made scholie offers to 7 other JC hybrid DE/OLB prospects at various JCs (1 @ Butte College in NorCal; 2 @ Coffeyville Community College in KS.; 1 @ Iowa Western Community College; 1 @ Mississippi Gulf Coast College; 1 @ Northwest Mississippi Community College; 1 @ Riverside City College in the IE/SoCal). Of these other 7 JC hybrid DE/OLB prospects that UH offered, 3 already have offers and/or interest from P5 programs along with other G5 offers while 2 have multiple G5 offers with the other 2 having multiple FCS offers.
The quantity and quality of offers probably correlates to UH's recruiting odds of successfully signing a JC prospect but doesn't necessarily reflect the quality of the prospect.....when considering that several recent UH starters (Marcus Armstrong-Brown, Zion Bowens, Cedric Byrd, Makoa Camanse-Stevens, Cortez Davis, Alex Green, Mana Hudson-Rasmussen, Kendall Hune, Kohl Levao, Cameron Lockridge, DJuan Matthews, Kana’i Pinanco, Gene Pryor, Jason-Matthew Sharsh, Jared Smart, Justus Tavai, JoJo Ward) received minimal other recruiting offers/interest coming out of the JC ranks.
While Coach Abe identified, evaluated & recruited several of these under-the-radar JC prospects (Bowens, Byrd, Davis, Hudson-Rasmussen, Lockridge, Tavai) to UH, hopefully the entire UH coaching and recruiting staff are solid evaluators of physical talent & abilities (as well as personal character) in order to find and recruit that under-the-radar sleeper JC prospect (who is academically eligible to transfer in to UH).....since several P5 and G5 programs are also focusing their current Fall recruiting efforts on JC prospects (with the transfer portal limited only to graduate transfers until early-December) more so than HS prospects (who were the focus of recruiting efforts from Spring through Summer).
