How Far Has UH fallen?

Post by sarvicdar »

How far has UH fallen?

Pretty low. You might say uncharted territory. That offense is absolutely horrendous. In every offensive category UH is near the bottom of the list, and I doubt it will get any better.

UH's opponent this week, New Mexico State, is listed as a 5 point favorite. Huh? When's the last time UH has played a 0-4 team that's a perennial loser and be listed as an underdog? GS.

Man, how things have changed.

New Mexico State has been the underdog in the last nine matches against UH and has lost all nine games, dating back to 2005. Now the teams the favorite. Again huh? And get this NMSU sits at #176 in the Sagarian rankings. The odds makers, I guess, has UH pegged or better yet has Shoe pegged as a loser. I do, too.

There was a time that NMST was a guaranteed win now the question might be can the Warriors win another game this season, which will be unlikely as UH will be the underdog in all of its remaining games.

Relax. We've been through some rough transitions the past three years. We've got a pretty good coaching staff with new key players. They gotta adjust the ambitious schematics to match the talent. That's all. NMSU is coming off a 66-7 loss to Wisconsin. Nobody from Hawaii is betting on the home team, so the odds-makers gotta sweeten the pot. A one score home-team advantage is typical for question mark match ups. Relax, we got this.

LOL you can see the defense player grab his helmet when he realizes what he did. Things could be worse for us. We could be 0 and 4 like our upcoming opponents

Dang. That looks almost like the 3 turnovers that UH had prior to Duquesne.

UH's next opponent San Diego St. would likely be a 20 point favorite according to the Sagarian rankings. If that's the case bet on UH and take the points. Against NMST UH had its best offensive output of the season(400 some yards/32 minute TOP) despite going 4/16 on 3rd down. I think the bye week will allow the team to heal their wounds/psyche and improve the offense. If the offense can start converting 3rd downs it changes the entire complexion of the game.
