Those triangle are earned...i.e. buckeyes stickers for OSU helmets.

I really like that component of the feathers on top of the helmet a la warrior helmets. IMO it embodies a change and new movement. I'd like to see a rainbow face mask with orange visors, which I think would be super dope.

I think it makes the helmet too busy. Places like Ohio State and Michigan that uses the reward stickers don't have much else on the helmet so it's pretty empty. Now they want to put the H and Hawaiian Island on it plus the reward stickers. It looks sloppy.

Can't please everyone I guess. I'm always surprised that UH doesn't leverage it's business school to help with new designs, new business stream or promotion competitions.

The powers that be seem ill prepared to make those decision or execute and lack fresh /vibrant ideas. They rely on cronies to much.

I'm on the fence on this one, while I don't mind the feather down the middle as it is just replacing the tapa design, i'm not so sure about the pride stickers. It may be a bit to much.
but, it may grow on me, I'll wait till I see the helmet on a player in game day uni to see how it actually looks.

I also interested to see what next years revamped unis will look like

I kind of like the look but without those weird looking wing? stickers. The white helmet looks really nice.

only complaint i have is no more island chain on one side of the helmet.

Ever heard of the term K.I.S.S. Keep it simple stupid- Thats what comes to mind when judging this abomination. Too busy, too much! Keep the Island chain on one side, H logo on the other side. Get rid of those earned triangle stickers all together... When everyone already thought Hawaii had the best Helmet design and now someone decided to go backwards and take it down a few notches. Must have been Matlin approved project to be this downgrade in cluttered design.
