looks like a storm is forming, thunder and lightning warnings on offense with long speedy recruits. look for the same storm surge on defense. can't wait to get in the stands and see them in action.

Nice size. Hope he has a great senior year but still stays committed to UH.

He is huge, strong and dominant against the top defenses. You can't teach size - he may still be growing. Plus, nice to see a Waianae kids on the team. They always play with tons of heart/passion.
Needs to work on pad level (sink his butt), lateral movement/agility. Will likely be a OG or C, bc lacks the feet for OT. The OL will be huge in the coming years.

Considering that he previously already deleted his UH commitment tweet, he longer appears to be a firm UH verbal commit (based on his recent Cover2 interview)....although it could still be possible in the future (since he still posts UH recruiting tweets).

Can't fault a young man wanting to explore his options. Like academics, if one can get into Stanford, he/she should go. If no work out, then there's always KCC. 1+ 1 always = 2. Does not matter who teaches it.

Thus far his other offers are from an FCS school & G5 schools (including MWC opponent SDSU).....with some interest from some Pac-12 schools (ASU, UCLA & Wazzu....as well as maybe Cal, Oregon & Oregon State) along with other MWC opponents Fresno State & Nevada.
Can definitely understand if he accepts a Pac-12 offer.....but just wouldn't understand if he chooses another MWC program (especially one with lower academic standards than UH).

This is where we bring back the topic about the stadium, and other campus facilities.
Chad Owen once said, back in his days, it did not matter if the weights were rusted. You still put in the work. Reference to OG players vs today's players. Too hot? Go outside.
That's true. But no doubt kids today rather work out in a nice place like Gold's Gym with nice AC.

I wish that more local HS prospects (who have other offers) felt this way about a scholie offer from UH....like this Cali kid....however I competely understand that local HS kids who have lived all their life on the rock sometimes just need to experience firsthand life on the mainland & find out for themselves that "the grass isn't always greener" elsewhere than it is at home....
