Scholarship or PWO? I asked because he stated academic career instead of athletic or football.

I'm assuming PWO. He never said he got an offer or that he "committed". He has a bunch of D3 and NAIA offers, but no D1 offers. He looks like he's playing at a different speed than his opponents, but his best 100m time 11.98. So he's not real fast.

Huh? How fast your 100m? 12 sec is quick. State Champs are around 11 flat I'm Hawaii.

I like this back. Good size, power, vision, accelerates when he sees an opening. Tough to tackle. Sometimes speed not everything. Sometimes you need to get that one or two yards. I am hoping we find a player like that.
Not doubting, not hating, not loving, just hoping because I am a fan.

I’m not saying he is slow. He is definitely faster than his opponents. I’m just saying he’s not really fast like say current UH running backs Jordan Johnson and Tylan Hines. Johnson and Hines are really fast and played at the 6A level in Texas where they could run away from opponents. Johnson’s 11.21 and Hines’ 11.14 are way faster than Crockett’s 11.98. Of course, they are smaller, more speed type guys than Crockett and speed isn’t the most important thing for a RB. Vision, cutting ability, power, etc. are all important. A more similar style and sized RB to Crockett is former UH RB Dae Dae Hunter. He ran 11.42.Palolo_2LA wrote: ↑Sun May 01, 2022 1:06 pmuhwarriors wrote: ↑Sun May 01, 2022 12:03 pmI'm assuming PWO. Understood. If we are going to have RnS concepts , a blocking back that can run is needed. Perhaps he fulfills that need. 11.21 , 11.14 times are not quick in P5 - it is in the10.5 range.uhwarriors wrote: ↑Sun May 01, 2022 11:05 pmI’m not saying he is slow.
