Just curious if anyone know why UH stopped hosting the Easter Tournament?
As a kid I looked forward to this tournament,
Not only was it fun to watch along with lots of good teams. But I was always excited to collect the UH baseball cards then on the last day UH would have an autograph session and got to meet a lot of our favorite players.
I wish they would bring it back.

Les in the dugout, Leahy and Pal in the booth, Billy B on the mound, Matias with a slam, Takayoshi on the base, Kenny Harrison roundin' third. Other teams didn't stop the fire.

Wichita St. was a regular in the Easter tournament on their way to the college World Series.

Not to be confused with Rainbow Head who held a John 3:16 sign at Monday Night Football games. There was 30 for 30 where he went crazy and is in jail.ulua wrote: ↑Thu Feb 24, 2022 2:49 pmPlus we had the Rainbow LadyWalkoff Balk wrote: ↑Wed Feb 23, 2022 8:33 pm Les in the dugout, Leahy and Pal in the booth, Billy B on the mound, Matias with a slam, Takayoshi on the base, Kenny Harrison roundin' third. This thread brings back great memories! Late 80's-early 90's, I would spend all day after school and on the weekend at the stadium for this tourney. Great times! The Rainbow Lady was awesome. I'm gonna guess she's been gone many years now. Used to sit with her (Ann was her actual name, if I recall) and her husband (Bud). So much fun.

on a side note, since I live in KC, thinking about driving up to MN to watch the baseball team in a tournament there in early March
