QB Kahi Graham 2023,St.Louis was one of four Qb MVP’s at the National Preps Combine event in Las Vegas this past weekend. The talent evaluators at 247sports said Graham was consistent during the event and was accurate on passes short, intermdiate, and long downfield.

IIRC,Graham transferred to a mainland school last year to have a season in 2021. Seems like he is returning to St.Louis for his senior year.

Solomone Malafu LB 6-2 217 Kapaa was one of the top five linebacker performers at last weekends National Preps Combine in Las Vegas per 247sports.

Malafu holds offers from Arizona State,Arizona, and Utah.

It is obvious from the article that his recruitment is starting to heat up with the circulation of his junior season tape from Kapaa and scouts seeing him in person at Rebel Squad workouts in Laie and the recent combine in Las Vegas.

Not ranked yet by 247sports yet,but on their scouting radar as players to watch are two Kahuku players. The site posted articles in football recruiting under newsfeed about DL Lebron Williams 6-2 225 c/o 2025 and CB Viliamu Toilolo 5-11 160
c/o 2023.

Williams says he definitely plans on camping at Utah this summer.
Toilolo says he plans on attending camps at BYU,Utah,Utah State, and Dixie St.

Nick Delgadillo 2023 WR St.Louis 6-0 180 is a player to watch for this coming year according to 247sports. They were told that they should check this player out. They did,and liked his performance. Delgadillo got open all camp long, showed good burst out of his breaks, and caught balls through contact. He was on the short list for WR MVP at the recent National Preps Combine in Las Vegas.

2023 WR Nick Delgadillo has received a three star rank form the guys at 247sports. It will interesting to see who throws him the ball this fall. Kahi Graham returns after a years absence with a three star recruit rank. Oa Kamakawiwoole ,last seasons backup, and Jaron Sagapolutele who had a monster statistical year this past fall for the D-II/JV Crusaders should make for an interesting QB competition in spring and fall camps.

John-Keawe Sagapolutele showed promise as a freshman but seemed to have regressed last year (new coach?). Does he have any offers? Doesn't appear to be much interest for him.

I think his only bad game last year was the last one we played.

@BowTow:

I would hope UH shows interest in him, and makes an offer. I don't care for Punahou School, but if Sagapolutele becomes UH's QB, I'll support him 100%, as I'm a UH alumnus.

Per Hawaiiprepworld, JK Sagapolutele has an offer from UH. I believe at least one Ivy League school has shown interest, but Hawaii is the only school that has made an offer to date.

Personally,I think Covid restrictions have hampered all Hawaii players in all sports. As for Sagapolutele,no games in 2020.Only five games in 2021.His peers in 47 of the fifty states have had regular seasons the past two years. He has had five games the past two years.

Kahuku’s Liona Lefau and Kainoa Carvalho impressed scouts at brAvery Battle at the Beach 7on7 in Cali this past weekend. The writer for 247sports didn’t go into detail on Lefau. He just said Lefau had been written about so much that nothing new could be said. The blue chipper performed as expected.

Carvalho was described as the best nonQB at the tournament. Constantly blew by defenders on passing routes and was a major factor in his Pink Outlawz team scoring on every possession in pool play.

Did Kahi Graham start and ball out for his mainland high school team? Graham has been touted as possibly the next Mariota since 6th grade and has always impressed at all the quarterback camps he attended. There's no guarantee he'll start. The best to all the boys vying for the starting spot.

Kahi Graham played for Timpview HS,Provo UT in 2021. He was not the starter. Liu Aumavae was the starter for Timpview and threw for over 5,000 yards and 44 TD’s in total during the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Graham did get into six games coming off the bench in 2021. His season totals were: passing 233 yds on 21-29 completions with 2 TD’s 1INT, rushing 46 yards on 10 carries, kicked 3PAT’s for three points. Stats can be found on the Deseret News website.

Graham is definitely a combine/7 on 7 warrior but has always been down on the depth chart whether it be St.Louis or Timpview. His senior season begins in the fall,so now is his chance to win the starting QB job for his senior season and show what he can do on the field.
