Otay Baker No Longer On Team?

Post by uhwarriors »

One of TG's prized recruits last year apparently has quit the team.

Yet he's still on the 2021 roster, whereas Chevan, Dae Dae and Cam are not.

As are Muasau, Laulu, Tavai and Mardner. Quite puzzling. Maybe media relations is on vacation? Or they said "we're not listening to Graham anymore".

Probably a good guess that O'tay has changed his opinion of TG. If O'tay is done then this definitely won't help recruiting with Texas JCs.... https://twitter.com/AHoshidaSports/status/1438274918475386884

Even if true, only 8% of high school players even get a chance to play college ball. If TG calls you, the smart move may be to get used to Spam and rice.

Nice touch on the math. How did you come out with a percentage like 8% ? 8 people out of 100 players go to play college sports. :hello1:

That is just like saying, only 25% of the high school students go on to study in College. This is the same type of analysis. 25 out of a 100 students will go on to college and experience college. Just like this forum. If you'll notice, only college or educated students put on pictures. If you're one of the lucky ones, they'll just give you buttons to press. They call these buttons java script. I happened to take up computer programming way back in 1988. Basic programming. Sorry....

Quick internet search. This one from 10/2021 shows 6.5% of high school players move on to play college football.

Tough period where we don't have much to talk about, until there is something to talk about.

I had to take one class in BASIC back in my UH days. Was sometime in late '70's or early '80's. I almost failed. My problem was how to solve a circular reference.

Entered the transfer portal….but apparently after the May 1st deadline to be eligible to play this upcoming 2022 season….so would be required to redshirt if transferring to an FBS or FCS program.
