And it continues. I've heard there may be more transfers and others just quitting, including seniors who could return as super seniors.
Re: Mardner out...
Well looks like the cut is still badly bleeding
And the Band-Aid is not stopping it.
Mahalo Nick for representing the 808, best of wishes going forward!

Re: Mardner out...
That makes three key players on offense. Does that tell you something, Bo and Todd? Send Bo to go work for some of Todd's so called friends.
Re: Mardner out...
Thankyou Mardner. You were one of my favorite players.

Good luck young man. Don't blame him, bc deep 50/50 balls and mostly blocking on run plays are not on the agenda of a WR who wanted to play in the RnS. Another mismanaged player.
Who's going to hold TG accountable for selling the kids and fans a spread offense and passing it all over the yard?

Well one would need a QB capable of executing those passes.Palolo_2LA wrote: ↑Sat Dec 25, 2021 9:08 am Good luck young man. Don't blame him, bc deep 50/50 balls and mostly blocking on run plays are not on the agenda of a WR who wanted to play in the RnS. Another mismanaged player.

Chevan sustained a shoulder injury during the season. Coach played him thinking that he still gave us to best chance to win, even if he was probably playing while still not fully healed.EITSwarrior wrote: ↑Sat Dec 25, 2021 9:11 am

There was a noticeable improvement in his accuracy in the last two games. You think that maybe it was because Bo was moved up to the Box?

Injury has nothing to do with it. I've always stated that Chevan never had good accuracy. Even going back to Saint Louis days.wailukuwarriorfan wrote: ↑Sun Dec 26, 2021 11:18 amChevan sustained a shoulder injury during the season. I don't know how anyone can see anything on the sidelines at eye level.wailukuwarriorfan wrote: ↑Sun Dec 26, 2021 11:18 am

In the old days, as soon as a player QB comes back to the sidelines, he is on the phone with the OC.
Does UH need some iPads, so the QB can see too?
(Based on TV, it looks like CC just sit on the bench with the boys.)

Re: Mardner out...
good luck to him and mahalo for his contributions. But seriously, it's not we are loosing Ashley Lelie or Jason Rivers here. He had size, length and speed. But above average hands at best. As I had shared in past posts, Mardner was not all that people tried to build him up to be. The catches he made almost always had to be perfect passes laid precisely in his hands. Hard catches were certainly not part of Mardner's forte. He did have a few bright moments, I'll give that up to him. But Maybe I'm just spoiled with receivers of UH past.
