2-year starter in the Trinity League (the SEC of HS football) against the best HS competition (including nation's No. 1 ranked Mater Dei HS) in SoCal (probably in the nation).

“The brotherhood they have, it really reminded me of Bosco a lot,” Finau said. “It’s time to go to my new family.”
The 6-foot-3, 280-pound defensive lineman was rated a three-star recruit by 247sports. He could not be happier to get to play college football on the island that many of his family members call home.
“I get to play around all the people that watched me when I was little, all the people I grew up with, so it’s going to be fun,” Finau said.

Pleased that Malachi is going to keep his commitment despite the coaching change. Be Warrior Strong!

Since took his OV when TG was still the HC, was probably his first opportunity to meet most of the new coaching staff (including his DL position coach Eti Ena) in person.

Of all the incoming Freshmen, he might be the one ready to contribute. It would be a big plus if he can due to the lack of depth at DT.
