This 2 Point Loss Hurt

Post by HawaiianHogster »

The Razorbacks are hurting real bad over this loss. I hope they can put it behind them before playing Alabama next Saturday. If not they don't stand a chance.

They started off good with a couple of impressive drives. Then at the 3 or 4 yard line KJ decides to jump over the defensive line only to fumble, that was returned for a defensive TD. The Hogs fell apart after that. They gave themselves the chance to go ahead with around 1:38 left in 4th qtr. A missed field goal by one of the best kickers in college.

For sure we gave them the win. Not sure why KJ jumped at the 3 yard line. Maybe he thought they were close to the goal line? Play calling at times was suspect. The missed field goal to take the lead. Missed tackles. On and on.

If they want to win the SEC West they will need to improve on bad decisions. Especially the ones that gives away points. Oh well. That's college football.

Arkansas defense allowed Texas a&m to score two TD's in four quarters. Their winning TD was made by their defense on a fumble recovery. Arkansas offense needs to improve on keeping the ball. Not fumbling the ball.

All the mistakes made are correctable. We shall see how they bounce back against a top 5 team in Alabama. If they lose big time, they weren't mentally prepared. If it is a close game with a chance to win it in the 4th QTR,

then they were mentally prepared. If they win, they were mentally prepared and pissed off.

Quick question for ya, Hogster, why isn't Arkansas playing any games in Little Rock this year? They played one game there last year and they traditionally 2-3 per year for several decades in Little Rock.

It looks like Arkansas might play its last game in Little Rock 2025 against Arkansas State. They went to one game in Little Rock since they played Texas a&m in Dallas every year. I think they want all home games to be played in Fayetteville. They lose money going Little Rock.

2023 New Coaches & Players. Pittman's 4th Year

Post by HawaiianHogster »

Here we go again. College football is here! So far the SEC has faired well except for Florida and LSU. I expect both teams to get better during the season.

Our first game showed we have plenty receiver's that can catch and run good routes to get open. Our run game wasn't what we fans expected it to be. Hats off to WCU for stopping that.

We have two QB's that can lead the team to TD's. Our RB core is deep and dangerous. Our OL did good in the passing game. OL Needs improvement in the run game.We will see that running game happen against BYU.

Defense is improved. Secondary greatly improved. Linebacker play improved. DL improved. Now they can work on their weaker points from game to game.

Special teams showed up and did well.

The portal has been good to the Hogs so far. After one game we still have allot of answers needing answered. Plus playing against SEC will be the real test as to how the Hogs will fair nationally.

Hopefully I will have time to post some videos from other sites for your enjoyment. As long as I can find the videos and SportsHawaii Forums allows it.

Thank you all for allowing this sports forum to be used by all college sports fans. I appreciate it!

Looking ahead at what our record could be. I'm hoping for 10 or more wins. Undefeated is what I always say until proved wrong. Others range 7 - 5 up to 9 - 3. Depends on who your listening to.

BYU Baby!

Post by HawaiianHogster »

BYU will definitely push Arkansas's buttons on Saturday at 1:30 pm on ESPN2. Some have the Hogs losing or struggling for four quarters to barely pull out a win in last minute drive or defense comes up with last minute stop. Whatever happens, good or bad for the Hogs, I pray the Hogs demolish those Cougars. The memories watching our Warriors fight BYU every year was awesome especially in a win. I can't stand BYU football.

Pathetic Offense!

Post by HawaiianHogster »

Once Arkansas lost to BYU, I was done with posting updates. I refuse to collect info on a team that loses with an offense that lacks clarity. I also went on vacation and help my son move his family which kept me from posting. Three weeks of being too busy to bother. Now that the OC was fired, maybe we will see a better offense or not. I believe the offense gave up on Enos. The way the played was lack luster. The defense is great the special teams is great, but the offense is pathetic. Sad that the season had to end this way. Oh well. There's next year or not.
