My only favorite NFL team in mid-kid times was the Lions, especially when Barry Sanders was there but also with June Jones as QB/WR coach and Mouse Davis as offensive coordinator and they ran the Silver Streak. Lions have been pathetic and boring ever since then. Needless to say, I'm no longer a fan of the Lions, or any other NFL team for that matter.

Cats don't have owners. Cats have servants.

Look at Green Bay for example, we heard nothing from them since Superbowl 1 & 2, then they got this guy name Favre. And Green Bay has been on the map since.
Not saying JT will be the answer, but in 3-5years, could be part of something special.

Re: Jahlani Tavai picked in 2nd round
His injury really affected the defense. The opponent didn't have to worry about out LBs as much. Padello also became less effective when Tavai was out.
That play that Tavai got injured should have been dead a lot before he got tackled. It was clearly an incomplete pass IIRC.

Great video kapakahi. Jahlani is a fantastic representative of the UH football program and UH scholastics. Hope he recovers fully from his shoulder injury.

LOL...Tavai intercepts...and that is exactly what Stafford is known for.Can u make out who the QB is? I dont think it's Stafford is it?
Re: Jahlani Tavai picked in 2nd round
LOL...what game were you watching? Stafford was stuffed on multiple 4th down attempts, sacked, and intercepted. Dwight Howard was the MVP of the Sugar Bowl...albeit with a little help from the refs.

Re: Jahlani Tavai picked in 2nd round
Tavai is a good open field tackler, makes plays in space and good laterally. He is nothing like Al. Al created chaos in the backfield, had crazy explosiveness and was unblockable at times even when double or triple blocked. Tavai is closer to Pisa IMO.cabanalane wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2019 5:02 am That reminds me of Al Noga in some ways. Awesome as a So, and Beast as a Jr. National attention.
