Flu can be deadly, or at least very painful. I can't remember the last time that I got the flu, maybe high school, but the only good thing about it was that because I didn't have an appetite, I lost weight. Flash forward to today, I could sure lose the weight loss, but without the threat of death or the pain of having the flu. Got my flu shot, just in case one of those strains will protect me. Still could use the weight loss though.

 I had to hospitalize my mother in law because of this flu....it seemed a simple cough....and all of a sudden......she's fine now, resting at home. This one is scary.....don't take this lightly.

Exactly ..... Get the flu shot ASAP if you haven't done so already and don't wait too long to see a doctor if you're not feeling well.
One of my co-workers was diagnosed with the flu and she was out of work for a week.

yeah, this year's one is particularly rough. be careful, I'm not using my hands on any doors or buttons until at least the end of flu season.
