The Democratic Party should nominate a co-head coach as vice president. Kamala Harris is unfairly thought of as an assistant coach. The vice president has to be a head coach in waiting. Joe Biden is former U of Syracuse head Jim Boeheim who won a title. But, he stayed too long. Donald Trump is Rick Pitino who cheated on and off the court.

Uhm...former California Attorney General and Senator Harris would not be considered capable of taking over the reins should Biden die? Roosevelt was replaced by Truman: a disaster. Nixon's replacement, Ford, was solid. Reagan's replacement was...okay. If you had to choose between a silver-spoon-fed, draft-dodger, convicted-criminal or a proven legislator and legal mind...should the worst unfold...I'd chose Kamala.

Biden owned up to his disabilities in his latest speech: "I know I'm not a young man, to state the obvious. I don’t walk as easy as I used to... I don’t debate as well as I used to, but I know what I do know. I know how to tell the truth. I know how to do this job."

The Thursday Trump-Biden debate was one of the most difficult things to watch. To borrow a line from SNL from about two months ago, "will Trump actually serve his sentence and will Biden be able to finish his sentence." Biden's closest advisors should be fired. They need to pick 10 statements and have him say it over and over and take that to the debate. Right now, I'd rather see Sanders/Whitmer ticket on the Dem side. And, I'd like to see a Cheney/Christie on the GOP side.

The GOP has a chance to put in a real Republican candidate like Mike Pence for president.

The Democratic Party is going to keep sending in Zach Wilson, I mean Joe Biden. Joe Biden had a four picks game in the first debate. Donald Trump who is a turnover machine just kept handing the ball as a game manager.

I'm sorry, did I miss the part where Zach Wilson won the Superbowl? Trump babbled a bunch of nonsense and Biden showed a little bit better than Ronald Reagan and much better than Mitch McConnell in their twilight years. Should Biden win the Superbowl again, it won't be the end of the world. The alternative is...scary.

Joe Biden might not be the best Joe. There are Joe Cool, Jumping Joe Moore, Morning Joe, or Anahola Joe.

Either way, a better comparison might be Bill Belichick...or Robert Kraft for that matter...rather than Zach Wilson. Heck, the NFL ownership is riddled with decrepit ownership....er...leadership. IDK...which grandpa should one appoint as the figurehead of a given idea in the best interest of the countryl? I worry about the senior disabilities of both candidates, but there is only one I would trust to get the job done. Also, I think only one of the candidate's ideals are worthy of support. The other's are cartoonish.

Pundits are saying that Biden was overcoached. Too much statistics to memorize. Cringy to watch. Biden also took Trump's bait and talked with Trump about golf. Zero fact checking done in real time as Trump got away with everything, including the kitchen sink.

Pretty much either you want a dictatorship or not the debate isn't going to decide the election

Global Warming.
Where have you gone, Al Gore?
Our nation turns our lonely eyes to you.

Al Gore was probably the most conservative Democrat of all time...aside from Carter. Being so conservative killed their continued candidacies. Arnold Schwarzenegger was probably the most open-minded Republican. Arnold did it right. Either Gore or Swartz would've made better presidents than either of the caricature presidencies of both Bush Jr. and Trump. I hope we don't go down the same path we did with GW or Trump1...both were draft dodgers...and proven liars. Both showed love to Putin which I believe fueled the beast we have had to deal with all these years in the Ukraine conflict. Al Gore did not lie about the obvious changes to the weather...which have since accelerated.

I was surprised by the golf discussion. I kind of expected Biden to go after Trump on Jan 6, finding votes, etc. Didn't matter if the Moderators did not ask that. Biden could have sneaked that in.

The only funny moment in a terrible movie was Bernie Sanders. This movie was made 25 years ago. He looked and talked the same. His marriage advice speech was more about baseball. The scene was so Larry David. I would vote for Bernie Sanders in the upcoming election.

Your suggestion that Sanders would be a better option than Joe is cute. Biden should drop out. He is showing way too many senior moments...just as Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, and GH Bush did at the end of their terms. Trump is...a convicted criminal...trying to be elected to, once again, rob the candy store. To be frank, the only candidate better than Trump is...anyone. Heck, I'd vote for you.
