I got a call from someone with an Indian accent. Red Flag. He said that my internet provider is doing an upgrade with a new cable box and that a technician is coming over. After some general ID information. Here comes the scam. He said there's a service charge for the technician and they will pay me back for the service charge. I knew he would ask for some personal information. I told him to put the service charge on the invoice bill. He didn't want to do that.
