Breaking News on Michael Jackson Autopsy

(CNN) A spokesperson of the L.A. Medical Examiner office has said during a press conference that there are no indications of any "foul play" or any trauma done to the body of Michael Jackson. The spokesperson said that he was limited to what he could say at the press conference due to an ongoing investigation on Jackson's death. He could not comment on the list of drugs found in Jackson's body.

He did say that toxicology tests have to be performed and that those results may not come out until 4-6 weeks from now.

I'll change it to "American Sales" thanks. Out of all the trade groups, (International Federation of the Phonographic Industry or Billboard) or other organizations (Nielsen Soundscan and RIAA) to determine the number of albums being sold worldwide, it was difficult to find any official record industry trade group that accounts for world sales.

Somewhere, Ldub20 is crying and probably reserving the next week (or couple of weeks) to pay tribute to Michael. As for me, I'll just stick to jamming to "Jam" and watching the dance moves of "Moonwalker".

You can also pay tribute by watching "Untouchabulls", a video detailing the run of the 1992 Chicago Bulls. It features the music video for "Jam".

Billy Mays R.I.P

Image

(People) TV pitchman Billy Mays,50, dies Sunday and the autopsy results show Mays died from a pulmonary embolism. According to the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner Vernard Adams, Mays "had an enlarged heart, a thickening of the wall of the ventricle which takes blood to the heart." There was evidence of heart disease found.

Mays was known as the informercial King and well-known as the spokesperson for "Oxiclean." He also appeared on Home Shopping Network. Mays was about to take it to the next level by starring in a reality-tv show "The Pitchmen" for the Discovery channel and he had just signed on to be a spokesperson for Taco Bell.

Ironically, on the night before his death, Mays had gotten' off a US Airways flight where the plane's tires had blown up and resulted in bumps and bruises of some passengers. He was scheduled to have hip surgery today. His 23 year-old son said that his father sounded nervous and tired on Saturday night and about the surgery on Monday. Mays died in his sleep and was pronounced dead at 745 am Sunday.

A tragic end to a promising career for Mays.

Latest on Michael Jackson

Image

(The Sun) Michael Jackson's body was in terrible shape and he had only pills in his stomach when he died, according to a report out of London.

Jackson's hips, thighs and shoulders were riddled with needle wounds, The Sun is reporting. The paper -- which claims to have details of the autopsy -- is saying Jackson was bald at the time of his death and suffered several broken ribs, probably from the failed attempts to revive him.

There were four "injection sites" found above or near his heart, according to the paper, where rescue workers reportedly shot adrenaline into his heart in an attempt to restart it.

The Sun also says the autopsy found unexplained bruising on Jackson's knees and on the fronts of both shins.

UPDATE: The L.A. Medical Examiner has released a statement (disputes the Sun's report):

"The report that is being published did not come from this office. I don't know where the information came from, or who that information came from. It is not accurate. Some of it is totally false."

Story developing. . . . . .

Dr. Conrad Robert Murray

Jackson's Doctor Conrad Robert Murray, who had given an injection to Jackson an hour before he was found not breathing on his bed, has been questioned by investigators and is listed as an "eyewitness" to Jackson's death not "a suspect" as first suggested by the media.

The family has requested a 2nd autopsy to further investigate Jackson's death in order to remove "all doubt."

Guardianship Petition Filed for the 3 Children

Katherine Jackson, Mother of Michael Jackson, has filed guardianship petition for Jackson's 3 children and says that the biological mother of 2 of the children, Debbie Rowe, "has no relationship with the kids." Rowe has not issued a comment on Katherine's request. A hearing has been set for August 3 to hear the petition.

Transformers 2: Huge at the Box office!!!!

Image
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is the Summer's biggest blockbuster so far

(NY Times) Horrid reviews couldn’t dent “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” which demonstrated once again the power of sequels by selling an estimated $201.2 million in tickets at North American theaters over its first five days.

The huge No. 1 entrance to the marketplace was on par with last summer’s Batman sequel, “The Dark Knight,” which sold $203.8 million in tickets over the same period and now ranks as one of the biggest blockbusters in movie history with over $1 billion in global sales. Overseas “Transformers” sold $186 million in tickets in its first five days.

The summer movie season has already seen some significant hits, among them a “Star Trek” reboot and “Up,” but it took a true sequel to break the bank. (“Terminator Salvation” and “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” while technically sequels, were more efforts to take franchises in new and unfamiliar directions in hopes of resuscitating them.)

People complain about Hollywood’s tendency to be unadventurous with its big-money titles, but the moviegoing masses clearly get the most excited when they are not being surprised. In other words, the multiplex really rocks when movies are served up the McDonalds way: predictably and comfortably.

“Transformers” is definitely that. This PG-13 picture, heavily reliant on computer-generated imagery, again centers on warring alien robots. The evil Decepticons return to Earth to hunt for an ancient power source that only a geeky college freshman (Shia LaBeouf) can locate. The good Transformers join forces with human armies to stop them. Megan Fox costars.

Few expect this “Transformers” to match the staying power of “The Dark Knight” because the new picture, directed by Michael Bay, with Steven Spielberg as executive producer, has received some of the worst reviews of the decade. Roger Ebert’s critique used the terms “horrible,” “unbearable,” “meager” and “music of hell” to describe it. (And that was just in the opening paragraph.)

Drawing particular scrutiny are two new robots, Skids and Mudflap, who talk in jive and are portrayed as illiterate; one has a gold tooth. Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, two of the three credited screenwriters on the movie (the other is Ehren Kruger), have blamed Mr. Bay for the stereotyping. The director has brushed off the criticism in interviews.

Paramount Pictures, which distributed the movie and co-produced it with DreamWorks, noted that ticket sales increased day by day, something that typically demonstrates positive word of mouth.

“Audiences evaluate movies for what they are, and this one is a big, fun visual-effects spectacular,” said Rob Moore, Paramount’s vice chairman. Mr. Moore said he was pleased that the sequel attracted more women than its predecessor did.

Image
"The Proposal" with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds is hanging tough at No. 2

The stratospheric results for “Transformers” validate Hollywood’s recent strategy to build more event movies around toys. Paramount will try its luck in August with the big-budget “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra;” Universal just announced “Stretch Armstrong,” based on the Hasbro action figure.

“Transformers,” which cost well over $200 million to make and market, added electricity to the summer box office, which has slowed down a bit following a robust spring. Total ticket sales for the year stand at about $5.13 billion, a 12 percent increase over the same period last year, according to Hollywood.com, which tracks box office results. Attendance is up 9.4 percent.

“The Proposal,” the Sandra Bullock-Ryan Reynolds romantic comedy from Disney, landed in second place for the three-day weekend with an estimated $18.5 million in sales and a two-week total of $69.1 million, according to box office tracking services. The R-rated Warner Brothers comedy “The Hangover” continued to show strength in its fourth weekend with about $17.2 million (for a new total of $183.2 million). “Transformers” had about $122 million in weekend sales.

Rounding out the top five were “Up” (Disney) with about $13 million ($250 million total) and “My Sister’s Keeper” (Warner), a drama starring Cameron Diaz that opened to a disappointing estimate of $12 million.

Janet Jackson makes surprise appearance at the awards show

Janet Jackson took the stage at Sunday's BET Awards to thank the fans for their support in the difficult days following her brother Michael's shocking death.

"To you, Michael is an icon; to us, Michael is family," she said, holding back tears. "He will forever live in our hearts. On behalf of my family and myself, thank you for all your love and support. We miss him so much. Thank you so much." Her father Joe was in the audience.

See the youtube video of Janet Jackson's appearance and a Michael Jackson musical tribute by Foxx and Neyo:

Host Jamie Foxx set the tone for the evening early on. "No need to be sad — we want to celebrate this black man. He belonged to us; we shared him with everyone," he said, to enthusiastic applause. Throughout the night, Foxx wore Jackson's signature fashions and interpreted his best-known songs and choreography. In one segment, he moonwalked across the stage in a red, zippered leather jacket.

There were other musical tributes as well. A New Edition (yes, including Bobby Brown) opened the show with a medley of The Jackson 5 hits, including "ABC" and "The Love You Save." An elegant Beyonce, wearing a veil and a transparent costume that resembled a wedding dress, sang Sarah MacLachlan's "Angel" and a chorus or two of "Ave Maria," in Latin. At the end of the show, immediately following Janet Jackson's appearance, Foxx and Ne-Yo teamed up for a tender rendition of The Jackson 5's "I'll Be There."

What is Going On With South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford?

Image

(Denver Post) South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford said today that he "crossed lines" with a handful of women other than his mistress — but never had sex with them.

(Let's check the polygraph test shall we?)

The governor said he "never crossed the ultimate line" with anyone but Maria Belen Chapur, the Argentine at the center of a scandal that has derailed his once-promising political career.

(I'm sure Chapur is falling for that line from her loyal but still-married boyfriend!!!!!!)

"This was a whole lot more than a simple affair, this was a love story," Sanford said. "A forbidden one, a tragic one, but a love story at the end of the day." During an emotional interview at his Statehouse office with The Associated Press today, Sanford said Chapur is his SOUL MATE but he's trying to fall back in love with his wife.

(Gosh, Sanford's wife must feel like a million bucks after learning that SHE'S SECOND ON THE SOUL MATE CATEGORY. AND. . . . WHY IS THIS GUY STILL GOVERNOR??????)

Further Proof that Michael Jackson is NOT the Biological Father of his children?

Us Weekly reports that the sperm donor for Michael Jackson's two children Prince and Paris has been found and he is none other than Jackson's dermatologist Arnold Klein. Debbie Rowe worked as a nurse's assistant for Klein in the 80s. Sources say that Klein and Rowe signed an agreement saying that were not to reveal the truth.

It is unknown if Klein donated his sperm for the youngest child, Prince Michael.

Klein has not commented on the accusations.

Lastly, Klein is wanted for questioning concerning the amount of prescription drugs that Jackson had in his possession. Sources indicate that Klein has already hired a lawyer before he is interviewed by investigators.

Jackson and Rowe NOT the Biological Parents?

Tmz reports that Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe are NOT the biological parents of the two children, Prince and Paris, as first thought. Rowe was married to Michael Jackson but her eggs and Jackson's eggs were not used. Rowe was a highly-paid surrogate in the whole affair. As for Prince Michael, the youngest, it is not known if Jackson chose the sperm for the baby. The mystery surrogate mother conceived the baby without knowing WHO the recepient was.

With that in mind, Jackson never legally adopted the kids although legal experts would presume Jackson is the father but is not "legally-binding" in this case. Simply put, Jackson's legal claim for the children can be disputed.

MJ's Will

Wall Street Journal reports that in 2002, Jackson signed a will providing for his children and his Mom but NOTHING for his Dad. His reported $1B estate was left for his Mother and 3 children while nothing was left for his Dad who mentally and physically abused Jackson when he was a child.

Dr. Murray Not Attending Funeral

Jackson's Doctor, Dr. Conrad Robert Murray who was with Jackson when the singer was found unconscious in his bed, will NOT attend Jackson's funeral. His representative says that Murray wants to isolate himself from the public for awhile. Instead, he prefers to "mourn privately for his friend."

Katherine Jackson Made Administrator of Jackson's Estate

Jackson's Mother Katherine has been made administrator of Jackson's estate. Katherine fears that his estate could be "looted."

Ferrigno Says, Jackson In Great Shape!

Former world-class bodybuilder and television's "Incredible Hulk" Lou Ferrigno who was Michael Jackson's personal trainer said that "Jackson was in great shape at the time and poised to make the greatest comeback in history."

Prescription Drugs Retrieved from Jackson's Rented Home

Investigators have retrieved prescription drugs from Jackson's rented home at Holmby Hills. The investigation continues on the cause of Jackson's death.

Second Autopsy

A second autopsy will be performed on Michael Jackson in an undisclosed location and it is unknown if the results will be released.

Yeah, even after death MJ still leaves a trail of mystery. Anyway, if Rowe and the sperm donor signed a contract stating that they wold keep mum about the whole biological origin of the children, then they are legally liable for bringing this up. A contract doesn't end at the death of one of the parties...unless otherwise stated.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!!

No Public or Private Viewing Scheduled for Michael Jackson, Says Jackson Family

UPDATE: The reason why the family declared that a public or private viewing at the ranch will not be scheduled this Friday is because a "residential exemption for burial on private property was NOT obtained in time" as reported by People. The legal restrictions for burial on private property takes months, not weeks as some had believed. In the case of Jackson, Governor Schwarzeneggar was willing to "cut any red-tape" needed in order to make the burial happen but the legal hurdles were too much. In the end, bureaucratic officials could not find a way to quickly circumvent the legal restrictions of burials on private property.

In addition, the concerns over security for such a massive event was expressed by Law enforcement officials. The road to Neverland was not built to hold thousands of cars.

It has been suggested that Staples Center would be an ideal venue for the viewing but no word from the family on whether they are looking at that as a possibility.

Santa Barbara officials have yet to hear directly from the family. LAPD officials are in touch with the Jackson family once they reach a decision regarding the funeral.

In the meantime, the body of Jackson is being held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills.

updated 2:56 pm PT

(Fox.com) A statement released by the Jackson family said that previous reports of a Friday viewing of Michael Jackson at Neverland Ranch are not true. Currently, the family is still deciding on funeral arrangements for Michael Jackson and that no public or private viewing at the ranch is scheduled.

A source says that a public memorial for Michael Jackson is being created and the schedule as to when it will be opened to the public has not been determined.

Farrah Fawcett is laid to rest. . .

Image

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Actor Ryan O'Neal led friends and family in a private funeral service on Tuesday for actress Farrah Fawcett, who died last week aged 62 after a long and public battle with cancer.

O'Neal, the long-time companion of the "Charlie's Angels" star, was one of the pall-bearers and gave a reading at the service at Los Angeles Roman Catholic Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.

Redmond O'Neal, the "Love Story" actor's 24-year-old son with Fawcett, was allowed briefly out of jail where he is being held on drugs possession charges to attend the funeral service. Redmond also gave a bible reading, according to a program made available to the media.

Fellow "Charlie's Angels" star Kate Jackson, former model Cheryl Tiegs and rocker Rod Stewart's ex-wife Alana Stewart were also among the mourners. Fawcett's Los Angeles cancer doctor, Dr. Lawrence Piro, delivered the eulogy with Stewart.

Fawcett's coffin was taken into the church as a quartet of musicians played "Amazing Grace" and Irving Berlin love song "Always", according to the program.

Outside the downtown Los Angeles church, a few dozen fans watched as Fawcett's casket was taken inside, covered with sprays of bright yellow flowers that seemed to reflect the sunny smile and golden hair that made Fawcett a worldwide star 30 years ago.

Fawcett died in a Los Angeles hospital on Thursday with O'Neal and Stewart at her side after a long struggle to beat anal and then liver cancer. A personal video diary chronicling her cancer treatments was broadcast on U.S. television in May.

Watching from the street, Karla Dishon, 47, told Reuters outside the church she had come to pay tribute to Fawcett -- a star whose hairstyle she had copied as a teenager like millions of others around the world.

"All the girls did -- wavy, pretty, surfer, California girl hair," Dishon said. "She is an icon and she is a very beautiful woman, and I think it's too bad that we lost her so young."

Neverland Ranch Readied for Michael Jackson's Viewing

Forget about getting a hotel, motel, or any accomodation near Neverland Ranch cause it's all SOLD OUT!!!! Hotels have been saying they are fully booked from Thursday to Saturday due to Jackson's viewing.

Although the media has reported that the Michael Jackson public viewing will be on Friday, there is a slight chance that it may be pushed to Saturday at the latest. The Jackson family has NOT officially confirmed Friday as the viewing yet.

Last Footage of Michael Jackson To Be Released As A Film ?

Image

(Perez Hilton) One of the closely guarded secrets from Michael Jackson's "This Is It" concert spectacular was going to be a new 3D mini-film, nicknamed the "Dome Project."

Jackson finished shooting the project only two weeks ago. It included recreations of the Thriller music video in which "the audience would have felt like they were visiting the Thriller experience, like they were there," according to Vince Pace, the man behind the 3D cameras used for the shoot.

The production took 5 weeks to complete with only a week of actual shooting, most of which the King of Pop was present for. Said Pace, "To think that Michael's gone now, that's probably the last documented footage of him to be shot in that manner."

Sadly, Jackson's frail demeanor was evident to the crew on the 3D shoot even a few weeks ago. Michael introduced himself to the whole crew and walked "with a spring in his step," but needed assistance when walking down steps.

Along with the recreation of the Thriller set, a "lush jungle" set was built for "This Is It", as well as a replication of a construction site.

No word on the film's release.

Michael Jackson Last Album of his final rehearsal?

Image

(NY Daily News) Michael Jackson's final rehearsal for his London concert tour was recorded in high definition video and audio on the eve of his death -- and could be released as the King of Pop's final album, sources said.

The rehearsals at the Staples Center in Los Angeles were taped by concert promotion company AEG Live to produce an album and DVD of what Jackson had billed his "final performance" tour called "This Is It," according to Sharon Waxman of the Hollywood blog TheWrap.com.

One AEG official boasted to a colleague this weekend, "We have a live album in the can," Waxman writes.

Jackson had failed to appear at many of the scheduled rehearsals in Los Angeles over the past two months, but he was there for an "electric" full rehearsal on the night before his death.

The rehearsal, which went on for several hours, included dancers, musicians and aerial performers. Three people close to the production said it had been captured by multiple cameras, and the audio was digitally recorded in a manner that could be used to produce surround-sound DVD and audio products.

Randy Phillips, president and CEO of AEG Live, the nation's second largest concert promoter, emailed that he would not comment for the story. The spectacular 50-concert series at London's 02 arena was set to begin in July.

AEG Live may stand to lose millions due to the unexpected cancellation of Jackson's 50-show London concert series, but potential earnings from recordings of the star's final moments could offset the losses - and then some.

Retailers like Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble have reportedly sold out of Jackson goods in the days after his death.

Patrick Woodroffe, a lighting designer for the concerts, watched the final rehearsal, he told the BBC.

"We had rehearsed for the last couple weeks. We put together a complicated show, quite a spectacular show," Woodroffe said.

"Of course a huge part of it was him, and I would say for the last week he hadn't really been with us. He would appear, and he would rehearse sometimes, and he would not rehearse," he said.

"I guess that we were nervous whether we would be able to carry off this show at the 02."

Denzel Washington's film, "Taking of Pelham 1,2,3" BOMBED so is he still worth $20M on his next film? Movie studios are RE-THINKING the Hollywood payscale in light of the economy.

The film "Taking of Pelham 1,2,3" failed at the box office and now the movie studio is wary about greenlighting another Director Tony Scott collaboration with $20M star Denzel Washington without negotiating salary first for the film "Unstoppable." Is this a paycut coming or a ploy to find some creative way of financing the project and pleasing its stars? Nowadays, these $20M actors should be in for a "reality-check" with the way the economy is going.

Woman With McNair Recently Purchased A Gun

Image
Steve McNair and Sahel Kazemi

(AP)—A relative of the woman, Sahel Kazemi, found shot to death with Steve McNair says Nashville police told him she recently purchased a gun.

Farzin Abdi is Sahel Kazemi’s nephew, but the two were raised together like brother and sister. Abdi says he does not believe Kazemi would have killed the former Tennessee Titans quarterback and herself.

The two were found dead on Saturday in a condominium owned by McNair.

Abdi says police told him they are almost sure the 20-year-old Kazemi was the shooter, but he says she had no motive.

Nashville police didn’t immediately have a reaction to Abdi’s comments.

Abdi says Kazemi believed McNair was divorcing his wife and she was preparing to sell her furniture to move in with him.

Cloud of Mystery Surrounds Steve McNair's Death

Image

Former NFL Quarterback Steve McNair, 36, and "girlfriend" Sahel Kazemi, 20, were both found shot to death in a Nashville condominium Saturday. Both individuals were found shot in the head with a semi-automatic pistol found underneath the body of Kazemi.

Law enforcement officials have ruled their deaths a homicide. Officials have stopped short of calling the tragedy a murder-suicide. They have indicated for the record that McNair was shot 4 times (2 in the head and 2 in the chest).

McNair is still married to Mechelle McNair and no divorce was pending. It is believed that Mrs. McNair had no prior knowledge of her husband's affair until after hearing about her husband's death. Mrs. McNair was distraught after hearing about her husband's death and made no comment. They have 4 children.

Steve McNair and Kazemi met 6 months ago when Kazemi was working as a waitress at Dave and Busters. They were "secretly dating" and relatives of Kazemi said that they traveled the country together.

The sudden death of Steve McNair was shocking that many theories have made its way to the media regarding a "mistress" (Kazemi) who grew tired waiting for McNair to leave his wife or a "lover's dispute" in which his mistress went into a violent rage or the involvement of a jilted third-party who stalked the couple.

There were rampant rumors abound McNair and his private life. His death will unravel even more about his "secret life" now that a full-blown investigation is taking place. He was often portrayed as a "family-man" who donated his time and money to charitable organizations.

UPDATE: A public memorial for quarterback Steve McNair will be held in Whites Creek, Tenn., on Thursday, it has been announced. The event, from 3 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., is to take place at Mount Zion Baptist Church. A memorial service is set to follow at 7 p.m.

Transformers 2 Tops July 4th Box Office Results!!!

Image
The gang of Ice Age (the voices of Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Dennis Leary, and Queen Latifah) return for the third installment.

Latest figures show Transformers 2--$42.4M and Ice Age 3---$41.6M

(Ew.com) Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs reached the end of the July 4 weekend with Transformers 2 taking the box office crown, (final figures showed Transformers with $42.4M and Ice Age 3 with $41.6M according to Variety Magazine.

Although its three-day opening weekend is the lowest ever for the Ice Age franchise, Ice Age 3's estimated five-day opening gross stands at $67.5 million. In the same five-day period, Transformers 2 took in an estimated $64.9 million, a clear second place. Still, Optimus is no slouch; with $293.4 million in the bank, Transformers 2 is easily the highest grossing movie of 2009 -- if no longer on track to match last year's The Dark Knight, which had raked in $334 million at the same point in its run.

Image
Johnny Depp plays Public Enemy No. 1 John Dillinger in "Public Enemies"

Johnny Depp, meanwhile, may not have had the box office-melting power of Capt. Jack Sparrow in his corner, but as famed bank robber John Dillinger, he still managed to help lift Public Enemies past decidedly mixed reviews to a highly respectable $26.1 million for the three-day weekend and a $41 million five-day total. As fans of adult dramas everywhere breathe a huge sigh of relief, the next test for the gangster picture will be overcoming muted word-of-mouth; it bagged just a "B" CinemaScore rating.

The Proposal landed at fourth with $12.8 million, an impressive 31% drop from the week before, bringing the romcom to $94.2 million. The Hangover continues to hang on, netting $10.4 million for fifth place and passing the $200 million threshold in its fifth week of release. Finally, Up may have lost its temporary title of 2009's top grosser, but with a $6.6 million weekend lifting its total to $264 million, the winsome adventure rose past The Incredibles to become Pixar's second-highest grossing movie ever, behind only Finding Nemo.

Michael Jackson briefs:

Fans write on a memorial wall for Michael Jackson

John Branca and John Mcclain, executors of Michael Jackson's will, have been approved to make decisions on marshalling assets, attorney's fees, and settling claims and actions but all require court approval. Katherine Jackson is NOT a co-administrator but her attorney can object to any of the executor's decisions.

Dr. Conrad Robert Murray is mum when asked by investigators if he had administered anethesia to Jackson on the day he (Jackson) died.

LAPD and DEA are investigating on how Propofol ended up in Jackson's hands. This is a drug that cannot be administered outside a hospital.

Mariah Carey and Jennifer Hudson will be singing on Tuesday at Jackson's Memorial at Staples Center.

A supposed feud within the family occurred over the public memorial being a "showcase" for the Jackson four with a performance and open casket with support from father Joe while Janet, Latoya, and Mom Katherine would have preferred a closed casket and no performances from the brothers. We'll see WHO won-out when the funeral is televised.

No word on whether Jackson's children, Prince, Paris, and Prince Michael will be present at the memorial. Ex-wife Debbie Rowe will be in attendance.

The streets surrounding Staples Center (Olympic, Blaine, Pico, and Flower) will be blocked off Tuesday for Jackson's Memorial at Staples Center. Anyone without a ticket will not be permitted within the "stay away" zone. News reports estimate that more than a million will converge into downtown during the service.

The Death of Steve McNair Sends A Warning to All People Who Are Having An Affair!

Image

The death of a wealthy athlete like Steve McNair should be a warning to athletes/celebrities and to all people, in general, who are having an affair. There is speculation as to the death of McNair but it is now a known fact that he was involved with "another woman." Whether his death was at the hand of Sahel Kazemi or by a third-party, McNair's death will send a strong message to people who are fooling around the back of a loyal spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend or domestic partner.

The film, "Fatal Attraction" should have been convincing enough of what can happen if a jilted lover seeks revenge and turns violent. Right now, I can imagine some athletes or celebrities or wealthy people or everyone in general that are thinking twice after what happened to McNair and "dumping" their mistresses or "side-bang" or "jump off" back at the Hooters or Chili's or wherever they met.

It has been reported that McNair was still married and there was no pending divorce with his wife, Mechelle McNair. In fact, their $2M mansion was about to be sold for a bigger home that could accomodate them and their 4 children. The McNairs were starting another chapter in their life or so it seemed.

There are unconfirmed reports that McNair was in the process of ending his affair with Kazemi and she was in a scenario that if she "couldn't have him, no one could." Whatever the case, the death of a McNair was senseless and a warning to all people who are involved in relationships.

The Final Question: Where Will Jackson's Body Be Buried?

Michael Jackson's body has left Staples Center? The public memorial is done and now comes the final question as to the whereabouts of Jackson's body after the service. No one seems to have any idea where his body will be buried. Other media outlets have not raised that question. Forest Lawn has confirmed that the body won't be buried at the Hollywood Hills Cemetary and law enforcement around Neverland Ranch said no word of any burial there.

Tmz believes that the motorcade leaving Staples is nothing but a decoy. Stay tuned.

(Downtown Los Angeles) Michael Jackson's body has arrived at Staples Center.

Scheduled to perform in front of more than 17,000 people are Usher, Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Shaheen Jarfagholi (Britian's Got Talent finalist), and Mariah Carey. Scheduled to appear are the Reverend Jesse Jackson, Reverend Al Sharpton, Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Brooke Shields, Smokey Robinson, Lionel Richie, Beyonce, Whitney Houston, Berry Gordy, Martin Luther King III, and John Mayer. Notable people/celebrities that are not attending due to personal reasons are Quincy Jones (Producer of Jackson's many hits), Elizabeth Taylor (Jackson's best friend), Diana Ross (family friend and confidante), Liza Minelli (close friend), and ex-wife Debbie Rowe.

Reporters from the different media are comparing this event to an awards show or to Princess Di's Funeral in 1997. Los Angeles Law enforcement officials and security teams are accustomed to the crowds since this is the 2nd major event (the first was the Laker's victory parade) to occur in a month.

Sarah Palin Explains Why She Resigned

(People) In her first interview since her stunning announcement Friday that she was stepping down from her state's highest office, Sarah Palin – in the middle of a fishing trip in a remote corner of Alaska – breathlessly told NBC's Andrea Mitchell that the beginning of the end of her governor's job took place on Aug. 29, the day John McCain chose her as his running mate in the 2008 Presidential race.

See the video of Palin's explanation:

"Everything changed" that day, Palin said on Tuesday's Today show. "Nothing would be the same for our administration."

Once she entered the national spotlight, says Palin, "The choice I had to make was, how am I going to react to the circumstances, to the changed conditions? Am I just going to keep plugging away, keep my head down and not going to affect any more change, because every time we try to do something we get hit with an ethics-violation charge or a lawsuit, because that's the political game that's being played right now, even though we've won every one of them that's been thrown our way."

Palin also said that in fending off the various ethics challenges against her and her administration has so far yielded her a $500,000 legal bill.

BREAKING NEWS!!!!!!!!!!

Ex-boyfriend of Kazemi NOT a suspect. . . . hhhhmmmmmm. . . .

(Nashville City Paper) Police and investigators have not ruled out the possibility of a third party being involved in the McNair-Kazemi case because of the possible involvement of Keith Norfleet, who was Sahel Kazemi's ex-boyfriend. Norfleet's name continues to surface throughout the investigation because he admitted being at the condominium on that very same day that McNair and Kazemi were found dead. He admitted that he was there looking for her. Authorities have reiterated that Norfleet is NOT a suspect (is this code for he's under surveillance during the investigation?).

Full article on Nashville City Paper:

http://www.nashvillecitypaper.com/conte ... irs-murder

Norfleet is an aspiring rapper who wrote an eerie song that describes the feelings he has about Kazemi's relationship with an "old man" (presumably Steve McNair). He wrote a song about his ex-girlfriend's relationship that has lyrics concerning "putting a clip in his mouth," about the old man's death, and "a promise that you'll (McNair?) die!." The title of the song is "Closed Casket." The song was released 4 months ago on his web page under the name KaNe.

He and Kazemi attended high school together in Florida and moved to Nashville not too long ago.

Police: McNair and Girlfriend's Death Is A MURDER-SUICIDE

Image

(AP) Nashville Police have confirmed that after test results, interviews with friends and relatives, and a thorough investigation, the deaths of Steve McNair and girlfriend Sahel Kazemi has been ruled as "murder-suicide."

They said they may never know what was going through Sahel Kazemi's mind when she shot McNair in his condominium early Saturday, but interviews with friends indicated she was becoming increasingly distraught over events in her life, including financial problems. Police said she also suspected McNair was seeing another woman.

She told a friend on Friday that "My life is a ball of s--- and I should end it," Police Chief Ronal Serpas said.

Police earlier had labeled McNair's death a homicide, but awaited further tests and investigation before saying for sure what happened.

McNair, a quarterback for the Tennessee Titans most of his career, met Kazemi six months ago at a restaurant where she was a waitress and his family often ate. She seemed happy and eager to build a life with him, but something went wrong.

Kazemi had recently told an associate that her "personal life was all screwed up." She had mounting debts and her roommate was moving out, which would have doubled her rent.

"We do know that she was clearly sending a message during the last five to seven days of her life that things were going bad quickly," Serpas said, though there was no indication she told anyone she planned to harm McNair.

Serpas said detectives learned that Kazemi recently found out about another young woman she thought McNair was romantically involved with and even followed that woman home, though she did not confront her.

Police believe McNair was asleep on a sofa at a condominium he rented with a friend when Kazemi shot him in the head. She then apparently shot him twice in the chest before shooting him again in the head and then shooting herself.

She sat next to his body and tried to position herself to fall into his lap when she died. She did, but her body slid to the floor and ended up at McNair's feet, Serpas said. The gun was found underneath Kazemi.

Her family told reporters Kazemi was so confident McNair was divorcing his wife of 12 years that she was preparing to sell her furniture and move in with him.

But associate Mike Mu, who has worked with McNair's charitable association for years, said McNair's wife, Mechelle McNair, "didn't know who this girl is." No records of divorce proceedings have surfaced.

Two days before the shooting, police stopped Kazemi driving the Cadillac Escalade sport utility vehicle that McNair gave her for her birthday in May.

According to an arrest affidavit, Kazemi had bloodshot eyes and alcohol on her breath. She refused a breath test and told an officer "she was not drunk, she was high." She was charged with DUI. McNair was with her but not charged. He later made her bail.

Serpas said that even though the Cadillac had both her name and McNair's on the title, she was apparently responsible for making payments. She was also making payments on another car after failing to sell it.

Where is Michael Jackson's Body and What Happens Now?

Image

The body of Michael Jackson is being held in an undisclosed location. The Jackson family is deciding whether to bury Jackson at Neverland Ranch (pending a residential exemption request to buried on private property---which could take months) or to bury him at the Forest Lawn Cemetary in Hollywood Hills (famous resting place for other famous stars and celebrities) where there is round-the-clock security or to cremate him and spread his ashes over Neverland Ranch.

Jackson's Mother Katherine has said that she is against burying Michael in Neverland because he felt violated by law enforcement when he lived there (officials searched the property for any evidence of child molestation). That was the main reason why he chose to leave Neverland permanently.

As for Neverland Ranch, the property deed was transferred to Sycamore Valley Ranch and LLC and billionaire Thomas Barrack. Turning Neverland Ranch into Jackson's "Graceland" would be the logical thing and a cost-feasible option with amusement rides and a musuem of Jackson's memorabilia which would be run the same way as Elvis Presley's home in Memphis, Tennessee. Others have hinted that the Ranch should honor Jackson as a humanitarian and make the property a children's hospital or a place for underpriveleged children or a "national park."

Finally, the investigation on the list of Doctors who may have "mis-prescribed" drugs to Michael Jackson was taken by the LAPD. Jackson's Dermatologist Arnold Klein, who was named on the list, was the first to "fire-back" on the allegations of prescribing Jackson with lethal drugs by appearing on Good Morning America.

Jackson's death will certainly open up more information about his extremely private life. More information will be revealed about his finances, his drug use, the birth of his children, his family, and his legal problems. With all his problems left behind, one must truly believe that Jackson is resting in peace because he won't have to contend with all these issues anymore. R.I.P. Michael Jackson.

Jackson's Memorial Second to Obama's Inauguration on Web Viewership

(CNN) The global web traffic yesterday rose to at least 19% above normal and peaked at 33% during the actual broadcast of the King of Pop's memorial. On CNN.com, there were an astounding 9.7 million live video streams throughout the day, coming in only second to the site's all-time viewership record (President Barack Obama brought in 27 million video streams the day of his inauguration.)

Still, the numbers are very impressive and they continue on, as the site boasts a "peak of 781,000 concurrent live video streams" during the memorial broadcast and that the news outlet's website garnered 81 million page views.

Summer Movie Season Is Cooling!!!!

ImageImage
The "Stink Bombs" of the summer of 2009: "Imagine That!" and "Land of the Lost"

(LA Times) The summer movie season is more than halfway over and a vacation season that started off hot -- "Star Trek," "The Hangover," "Up" -- has now cooled considerably. Despite the fast start to the year's ticket sales, seasonal returns are now up only 5% since May 1, compared with a year ago.

Given how spectacularly several expensive star vehicles crashed (the smoldering wreckage is topped by Will Ferrell's "Land of the Lost" and Eddie Murphy's "Imagine That") and how even some heavily touted franchises are doing worse than their predecessors ("Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs," "Angels & Demons" and "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian"), a movie based on the old 3-D slide viewer might be as good a bet as anything else.

The next wave of upcoming movies may improve the summer's overall performance. Friday's Sacha Baron Cohen comedy “Brüno” will likely open in first place, July 15's boy wizard sequel “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” will certainly sell a ton of tickets, July 24's guinea pig spy story “G-Force” should appeal to families and Aug. 7's militaristic action fest “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra” could attract a flood of young men. There also might be a sleeper hit or two around the corner: Aug. 7's cooking and writing comedy “Julie & Julia” and the Aug. 14 genre thriller “District 9” among the likeliest break-outs.

The saying goes, "The Audience Is Listening" and film executives should be aware that "word of mouth" from the audience is critical. The test audience will "make or break" a film with a good review to friends and relatives via text, email or cellphone (example "Star Trek" and "The Hangover" had good responses from the audience) while bad "word of mouth" can bring down a film ("Imagine That!" and "Land of the Lost" are prime examples). Film studios should be attuned to making quality films because the audiences today know a "stinker" when they see one and they are readily-armed with hand-held devices, cellphones, laptops, and desktop computers to let their friends and relatives know about it.

ALOHA FRIDAY!!!!!!!

Steve McNair Remembered In Memorial

Image

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Steve McNair's pastor and close friend cautioned against judging the ex-NFL quarterback Thursday, reminding people who gathered for his memorial not to cast the first stone when talking about his life off the field.

Steve McNair, who was married, was shot to death at his condo early Saturday by his 20-year-old girlfriend, Sahel Kazemi, who then turned the gun on herself.

"Drop your stone the next time you write about Steve McNair. Drop your stone the next time you text somebody. Drop your stone the next time you twitter. Drop your stone, those of you in the barbershops, the beauty shops. Those of you walking the streets on the corner, drop your stone," Bishop Joseph W. Walker III told thousands of people, among them family members, fans and more than 50 former teammates, gathered at Mount Zion Baptist Church.

"What I do know about this man was that he loved God though he was just like us: imperfect," Walked said. "But he knew God."

Among those in the audience was McNair's wife, Mechelle, who later left wearing sunglasses. Walker called her an amazing woman.

"You have inspired us all to endure hardship as a good soldier," he said.

It was her first public appearance since her husband died, and press photographers were asked not to take pictures of her or other family members.

Fans had lined up starting Thursday morning to view McNair's closed silvery-gray casket at a funeral home and later outside the church. A helicopter provided live TV footage as McNair's body was moved by hearse, and three of four local TV stations showed the memorial service live.

McNair's casket was on display at Mount Zion Baptist Church, where he had attended services since moving to Nashville in 1997. It was flanked by a large photo of him posing with his 2003 NFL MVP award on the right and another of him holding a football on the left.

The program included a statement from the McNair family.

"Today in our loss, our hurt, and our pain we recognize our gains in you our friends and loved ones ... They have all been a source of strength and comfort at this time to our family," it read.

Titans owner Bud Adams, Tennessee Gov. Phil Bredesen, Nashville Mayor Karl Dean all attended.

Among those speaking was Titans coach Jeff Fisher, who recalled a hit McNair took to his chest in September 2000 that had the NFL quarterback ready to quit the game. He was in so much pain that he spent a bye weekend with the team's former chaplain in Houston.

Then McNair, who struggled to breathe, watched his backup get knocked out of the Titans' next game. Fisher said McNair looked at him, winked, tossed two passes and then drove them down the field to a game-winning touchdown. Fisher said he caught up to McNair walking off the field that day in Pittsburgh and started to talk when the quarterback interrupted and pointed to the sky.

"No more turf toe, no more sacks. No more shoulder problems, and no more interceptions, only touchdown passes. I'm going to miss you No. 9," Fisher said.

Eddie George, who helped McNair take the Titans to their lone Super Bowl in 2000, was among the pallbearers, along with four of the quarterback's former offensive linemen who escorted his casket out as the service ended. George read a poem describing McNair as a warrior during the service.

"You fought a good battle. Your life has just begun," George read.

Jean Ryan got in line nearly two hours before doors opened at Mount Zion to say goodbye to the man she had followed since the NFL team moved to town in 1997.

"I love him, and he was a beautiful man and I will remember not the circumstances of his death but the great things he did for the Titans and the community," she said, wearing a Titans' pin and crying at what she called the "utter sadness."

Approximately 4,500 filled the church sanctuary for the service, and church officials had overflow areas with a handful of people there.

The Titans estimated approximately 9,000 people had visited LP Field, where fans were invited to reminisce about his career, between Wednesday and midday Thursday. Radio stations were broadcasting from the stadium, where the shop had sold out all of its McNair merchandise except for a few children's shirts.

Derrick Lewis said McNair "put the Titans on the map."

Lewis, wearing a Titans jersey, said he and his family were devastated when they learned of McNair's death. "Myself and my family were completely shocked and some of us were crying because you almost feel like you are related," Lewis said.

The details of the killing haven't changed his opinion of McNair. "I will always remember him for the good things that he did for the community and the Tennessee Titans," Lewis said. "Nobody's perfect."

Jackson's Doctors Not Cooperating With Investigation

ImageImage
Dr. Conrad Robert Murray (left) and Dr. Arnold Klein (right)

(Tmz) Law enforcement sources have said that two doctors who treated Michael Jackson have not been forthcoming with their medical records.

Sources say Dr. Arnold Klein and Dr. Conrad Murray have not turned over the medical records the L.A. County Coroner's office has requested. Both doctors have turned over some records, but the coroner's office has not gotten the complete file from either doctor.

And there's this ... We've learned a driver for Michael Jackson told coroner's officials shortly after Jackson's death that the singer was going to Dr. Klein's office multiple times a week in the months preceding his death and sometimes would spend 3 to 4 hours inside.

The driver told coroner's officials Jackson appeared disoriented when he left Klein's office. This is consistent with what a bodyguard told Santa Barbara County Sheriff's deputies in 2004 ... when Jackson left the offices of Klein and other doctors.

Michael Jackson's Body Found!

The NY Post reports that Michael Jackson's body is "temporarily" resting in a crypt at the Forest Lawn that was designed for Motown founder Berry Gordy, who is very much alive for folks that are wondering. The body is awaiting plans for burial once the Jackson family comes to a decision on a specific location.

As for HOW it got there and WHAT elaborate scheme the family used to get the body to Forest Lawn without the paps knowing, no one has any clue!

Rapper Lil' Wayne is being sued for $432,000 by Red City Entertainment for failing to appear at his own concert in the Bahamas. Seems that Wayne was found "unconscious" (hmmm. . . I wonder why?) by Police who were sent by concert promoters when he failed to show up for the concert.
