Looks like Jackson is going to come back.

More reason for us to cheer for them to bomb.

you need to sense better. D'Antoni it is. So much for the worries about defense.

D'Antoni might actually be a good fit.

One of my friend's son told us yesterday that Phil Jackson didn't want to travel - would only coach the Lakers at home. I literally "laughed out loud". I wanted so much for that to happen. :D

jackson asked for too much. all he had to do was sign. got greedy. nash won the NBA-MVP under d'antoni. huge plus.

i agree, he's a better fit with the players they have and long-term he's a better solution than PJ. I think its just great that one of the biggest whiners in coaching is finally paired with the whiniest fan base in professional sports.

 LALA boys went from BROWN to D'ANTONI, and the players are still the same! :- They can't stop anyone, and who' the only one that can score besides KOBE? :-({|= Nash will never be the same with his foot problems.....he's best days are behind him, and he's too much of a liability than an asset. :read:

lakers play much better when their winging it. dont need structure. let the players figure it out. theres alot of talent and smarts out on the court, and nashty aint even back yet. they can get a good shot off every 24 seconds with that crew. can blame the coach only so much. kobe and company gots to figure it out, team gots to take some of the blame. .......loved the magic's stratagy of fouling howard at the end of their game against the lakers last night. nelson's 2 3's closed the coffin. small kind facial on superman from his homies in florida!

superman sure likes playing the crowd and cameras! better pay more attention to the matter at hand. and, the lakers should make him their #1 option. ball goes down, defenses automatically collapses, (your not going to guard howard 1 on 1), somebody's open! gots to drop the splash though. and so far, jodie meeks might be that one outside threat the lakers have been searching for the last few years..........so far

lakers are figuretively and literally in la la land. too many people telling them how to play. did better when they had no coach. pretty much played a srimmage free for all and won under bickerstaff! he just cut them loose and said show me. try that again.

 How to play or how to compete? There's a difference....anybody can play, few compete for the NBA championship, which that boat for the LAKERs has sailed....they got no chance, and they are fighting to make the 8th seed? :o

this is it for the lakers. what we see is what we're going to get from them this year. and from my perspective, their pretty damned good. i dont pay much attention to their standing, it's too early in the season for that. it's when they hit the 3/4 mark in the season when i can tell how their going to turn out. and once the playoffs start, you can throw the standings out and we've got a 7 game series, win or go home. hard to bet against them even now for me.......... last go round for nash. not going to get any better than this. anything else would be a trade down, i.d like to see him go got with one. got;s to take care of that leg.

teams that play the lakers are up! playoff intensity! the lakers? 90% level. think they can walk thru the season and clean it up by playoff time. remember his airness and his teams intensity? bury all in the way and bury them deep! no resurrection. got 6 rings to prove it.
