Not sure about matches, but Landlord(KSK) at 126 and Uyemura(PC) at 140 both competed.
I hope we get to see Landford vs Suan this weekend

Nice to these champions back on the mat. Including seeing Ramos at 105.

I was there and ive seen some questioning things on Kamehameha side, Some wrestlers did good others had close scrambles. Buelow(Pun) was doing what he does and Nishida(Kam) Has to get it together and to learn his opponent. Looking up another weight Harbottle(Ksk) was wrestling Zion Junk(IOL) at 190 and looks like he got injured in the first period of the match. He wanted to keep wrestling but could not pull the win. He was then wearing a sling after the match. Kamehameha is still my favorites for states, wishing it was Saint Louis(we are washed).

What is going on at saint louis this year? They’ve been having an odd season so far in the ILH

Truly unfortunate, luckily many of these boys on this team are underclassmen, so they have time to turn it around, but as of right now it's the Berger and Suan show, with Okimoto and their 285 having decent showings too, both leading the ILH in their respective weight classes as I've heard. Berger being hurt is also probably a detriment to team morale, hopefully they can turn it around.

Speaking of underclassmen, we'll get a chance to see if there are any studs in the OIA JV this weekend. Hopefully we get some good matchups that didn't happen at Officials in the OIA/ILH crossover too. Any matches you guys are looking forward to? Personally, I'm looking forward to these:
Suan (STL) or Landford (KSK) vs Corpuz (MOA)
Machida (IOL) vs Rodriguez (ROOS)
Maybe a Berger (STL) vs Chang (KSK) rematch?

Hopefully they're all healthy and entered. I noticed Punahou is not entered into the tournament yet though. Hope that changes today.

If memory serves me last season Mililani ran away with the JV oia team title and took 2nd or 3rd at varsity oias. Did they graduate a bunch of seniors cuz they really should be in the mix for a team titles based off last years results. Amazing they fell so fat. Also Kalani was up there for jv and vars oia team titles.

In my opinion Mililani is garbage now with their new coaching staff. Only good wrestlers on that team are carry overs from last year

Woah you made me do a double take and had to check out Trackwrestling again real quick. Higgins won 138, not 144. Not to mention no Tauyan or Torres in the bracket. At 215 I had to check who “Game” was, but then realized it was Gaucher who beat him. That’s an interesting one.

This was interesting as this was Burton's first loss on the season
Suan wrestled great against Corpus

Thanks for the catches. I was typing on phone and it autocorrected Gaucher lol. Yeah and Higgins won 138 without many notables there. Not taking anything away from his victory, but no Tauyan or Torres was notable.

I was in the other gym and didn't get to see it, but I heard that Burton-Gaucher match could have gone either way. I'll be excited to see them wrestle again. Nishida appeared to get hurt not far into the match with Buelow and the pin came pretty soon after that. Hopefully he's ok.
