Local Clothing Brands
Local Clothing Brands
Anybody got the scoops on up and coming clothing brands in Hawaii... Living near Seattle, I'm tired of getting stuff like LRG, Famous, and all the other played out mall brands. I also like to have T-shirts nobody else has.

Seattle?
check out "Goods" near Pikes market. It's a Seattle based boutique, so its pretty limited and they sell other lines as well.
needgoods.com
"Flying Coffin" is up in Seattle as well, but the owner Jason Gomez is from Kaneohe. It might be a little too goth for you though.
And my homeboys Fitted, Kicks and In4mation have been doing it big for years now!

I wouldn't say that these companies are up and coming but I do have sort of an affiliation with these companies. "HIC (Hawaiian Island Customs)," where my cousin is the chief designer at their California design studio. "Maui Built," since I'm formerly from Maui and my other cousin modeled for them previously before moving to Vegas.
"Aloha 808" is just down the street from my house. They have a parking lot sale August 23-24.

Back to Hawaii, in addition to Cutlery (famous Aloha shirt maker, Sig Zane's son) and Leilow, there's Dig Lifestyles. Blue Hawaii has been making some nice tees. Syndication in Kaneohe, run by 808 Tattoo owner Billy Whitney. Get a tatt from him while youre at it, he is DOPE!
I think there is also a Seattle based company called Maiden Noir. But their shirts are a little higher end.

ha! once huf opened up in LA, i stopped going to huf. which isnt so bad because benny gold is no longer their primary designer any more and the new stuff is too yoodle. plus gas made it virtually pointless. i wont give up my huf caps tho. i just dont wear them as much. fitted's got me covered now. haha i just broke my hand in bball and i got a purple cast to match the purp UH fitted! so nutz!letsgobows wrote: yup u know whats up. u live in the bay? u know HUFs been killin it. and now Hundreds has just opened in SF as well. Re: Local Clothing Brands
no, maiden noir is strictly seattle. no hawaii affiliation. i was just trying to come up with some brands that were limited.
good point on HUF, i havent been a fan of theirs lately. i kinda like blackscale, got a couple of tees. mega's brand.
cool that there is someone else on here thats into it. been trying to stop for the past year bc i graduated college and work in an office M-F now. so no point in buying tees and fitteds. still buy Fitted stuff though, gotta support my homeboys.
