EA Sports - NCAA Football 2024

The plan is for a July 2023 launch, and the game likely will only be available on next-gen consoles such as Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, according to sources and documents. This will be the most detailed college football game ever, but many aspects, like the inclusion of real players, have yet to be finalized.

I've been hanging on my PS3 because it was the last year of NCAA Football - cause I can play UH. And I would edit the players to make them Poly, Hawaiian, or local.

This is good news that there will be a new NCAA Football game. The downside will be that it's on PS5. No luck on finding one, and I refuse to fight the madness (still) to try to get one.

Most anticipated game. Been waiting for EA to bring back this franchise since 2014. Looks like we gonna have to wait till Summer 2024. Delayed to get it as authentic as game day experience as possible. Glad they didn't rush it just to get it out there. The fan base is already there. As they say "If it's in the game, it's in the game". Let's gooooooo!!!

Just got it this weekend. Played once so far. Can't offer a review yet because it takes like to learn the controls and game play.

What I'm impress with so far is how update up-to-date it is. Roster, yes. I did not compare the entire list, but the key guys are there. So I think at some point there's has to be a cut off.

So the impress part is I heard DC DT said on the first Timmy Chang show (just before Week 0) that he is going to run a 4-2-5 defense scheme. That's the defense UH is playing. At least they got the formation correct.

What I "don't" like about the game is every time they cut to fans, they are doing too many shakas. But I should give them credit for adding shakas to the game. And 100% participation in showing the shaka. Now if they can only slow it down. We don't flash the shaka like we had too many Red Bulls.

Like someone said in the other thread, the stadium is not TC Ching field. I would have preferred the old Aloha Stadium. In the old game (12), you can see the Koolau mountains in the back. That's details.

The "new" stadium looks very generic. Not sure if it is generic or if they even used the plans of the new Aloha Stadium.

The latest patch had the UH roster pretty accurate, finally changed Alejado throwing arm from Right to Left handed and added a bunch of players so not many made up players now.

I'll have to sub MA in, and see what he can do. BS13 is hogging all the reps as QB1.

For my game, Koali Nishigaya is my most productive receiver, so far. What do I do now? Drop him from the team? And because I'm on my first season, Bows are not doing that good, and that's on me, I know.
