I get it now why all the women are talking about money as even Sue Bird said she only made $100K-$110K before she had endorsements, then she made $200K. It seems like there may be a walkout if they don't get an agreement on the collective bargaining agreement. I get that they're not paid a lot but for me, it's a turn off when athletes talk about money. Since the NY Liberty just won the championship, there's been a lot of news about the ownership. Appears that Joe Tsai and his wife, Clara were fined $500K for purchasing chartered flights for the ladies back in 2022.

25 3-pointers in a row. Makes me think that every finger on the hand has to be in sync.

I think the only person who can beat CC is CC herself. She is now one of the most marketable figures in sports. I watched the games leading up to the playoffs and the Fever were on fire after the All-Star break. Then the last two or three games before the playoffs, CC showed her frustration when she had a hard time with her 3 point shots. She hit the stanchion which caused for a couple of technical fouls. This just makes the other team happy without having to mock her and causes for tension on her own team. You could tell that the Fever wouldn't be competitive in the playoffs. This could have been the result of her "liking" the post by Taylor Swift which probably cost her a lot of fans.

Not replying to what you said on CC, but I don't get this part. Taylor Swift part. So what if TS supports Harris. It's her right to vote.

I like Guns and Roses. Does not mean I do drugs. Or I like drugs or in support of drugs.

If one is willing to wound up tight like that maybe they are missing on parts of life that's wonderful.

Some people are so tightly wound, that even if other views may differ, they feel like they need to resort to violent actions when people don't agree with them. Taylor Swift gave a guitar signed by her for some cause in Texas after her Twitter support post for Harris and someone purchased the guitar for $4K and smashed it on stage with a hammer to some cheers by the audience at the benefit auction. This is why Walz, when first told of the endorsement, said she's a very brave person. Also, I think that she may not have appeared at 2 of her boyfriend's games because of security concerns.

I know the election thread is on the other section. But more related to the reply above.

So 200,000 cancel their subscription to Washington Post because they chose to not endorse anyone. Choose A you lose, Choose B you lose too. Can't win.

So does that mean if they endorse someone, perhaps they would only lose 100,000 subscribers?

It's misleading when you follow up on stories on the internet. I try to delete any publishers who post inaccurate news. Recently, a title say "Lisa Bluder appointed by Fever." People know that Lisa Bluder had success with CC at Iowa. Then, there's more news saying that Kelsey Mitchell signed with the Chicago Sky which has not really happened since she's waiting for free agency in February. All of this news on the MSN website. Wish they would do more fact checking.
