In addition to the new offer from Minot State, Johnson names Hawaii and Florida A&M among the schools that have offered him where relationships have grown the most. He has also been offered by FIU, Morgan State and Norfolk State.
“It’s going good,” Johnson said of his recruitment with UH. “I have some good connections with some of the coaches. I talk to them on a regular basis on Twitter. They always follow up with me each week. I talk with (head) coach (Timmy) Chang - he keeps everything in line there and keeps up with his recruits.
“They said the food is good up there and that it’s beautiful out there, especially the beaches.”

Back in May 2022 prior to his HS senior season at Mayfair HS (Lakewood, CA.), Palu indicated the UH was his "dream school". Hopefully he still feels that same way about UH (since he also already has MWC offers from Colorado State, New Mexico, Nevada & Utah State).
