That's a relief to have a targeted QB commit. He has a cannon and plays in a spread offense, which translates well to the RnS.
It's a shame things didn't work out for his uncle Corey. I hope things are better for JJ.

Jarret Nielsen has not been playing this season and has "checked out" of Jordan HS. His father Jon Nielson, the head coach also just took a leave of absence from the team. In a tweet yesterday Jarret showed himself working out at the beach wearing a UH shirt. Hard to understand what is going on.

Maybe he's planning on graduating in Dec and enrolling at UH in the spring and challenge for QB1 or see where he ends up in the MLB draft.
With his accolades, playing his senior year and risking injury might not be worth it

And probably OT. It seems like parents/families are molding their kids for football way too early. So he transferred in, because is dad is the coach. Now, he is out. Both are out. Tagoviloa family moved so the younger brother can perhaps better his college chance. UH's own MA moved to LV perhaps for football too. Other, he would be at StL. Competing against Kahi Graham? Imagine if MA never got to play/start. I'm sure there are other Hawaii players that we never heard of.
I would think if a player is from Mililani high school, is because that's where the parents can buy a home, so that's the school they went to and play football. If the family can buy a house in Hawaii Kai, they may play for Kaiser.
The private schools and pick and choose, the best players, Mosi Tatupu.
If my son does is not the starting QB in High School, I'll move to find a school where he can start.
Back to topic. Yes, UH need a QB with long hair. That's where the mana is at, no?
