I guess it depends on what you're looking for. I'm the ILH 120,126, 150, will all have one match worth watching. 157 might have 2, 175 finals will be a very slow/low scoring match with the winner winning by 2 or so. I think the weights that are up in the air are possibly 106, 132, and 215.
OIA- I'm excited for 106, 113, 120, 126, 175, 215, and 285. Especially 106-126 and 175
Most of the other weights are pretty much locked up I think.
I think 106 has 5 of the states top 6 in it. I think 113 has at least 4. 126 at least 4. It's going to be a fun tournament.

Boys 120 semis is as predicted. Lum, Cabiles, Corpuz, Kato. Other than that, no real surprises except for Dias (WAN) beating a much improved OIA West runner up Luke (PC) by fall in the first minute in the girls 125. Officiating is bad as usual; Kapolei’s 130 super freshman and top seed Kapihe started her match without her mouth guard (braces), and instead of receiving a tech violation and allowed to get it, she was DQd and sent to the backside! Not saying it wasn’t her or her coaches’ fault, but that was messed up.

What a showing from the Oia championships reffing was super iffy in the placement matches but here are some of my thoughts

Teams: of course moanalua is in the lead for both boys and girls especially the girls, with their finals handshake ceremony looking borderline similar to duals Lol. Moanalua had 14 girls semifinalist and 10 boys 9 girls made finals while only 2 boys made it.

Boys: Oia boys looking better then ever with multiple weight classes having at least 3 of the states possible top 6 placers. Super Glad to see the public schools beating up the rich kids in the ILH


106: the 4 way split went how i thought would, loughlin and hotema equally had a hard time with each other.Kalaukoa vs murillo looked pretty close despite the scoring difference being 10-4 murillo looked out of it following the slam on shoulder/head which may have been the reason for the MFFs following suite. I personally think had loughlin made it to finals he would’ve gave colt a harder time than hotema.Officiating also looked odd with multiple takedowns coming from positions where hotema appeared to still have control. Armitage(LAH) appeared to drop down to 106 so that should be exciting.
113: Very fun looking bracket, Kamakaala giving irving an urging match beating him in Sv 6-4 from a flying squirrel, the officiating looked awful as multiple missing calls happened. tanaka placed 5th following suite of a miscount on swipes against Sheldon(CAM)
120: Hats off to Kato, Corpuz gave him a hard match in the semis holding him off till Sv losing 3-1, Lum looked extremely vulnerable coming into finals winning only 8-5 against Kojima(Jv champ PC) then having a hard match vs Cabiles(ROS).In the intial drop to 20 he looked dominate but after weeks of cutting he’s looking extremely gassed. Going into states I think Kato is going to have to get the 4 seed.
126: Corpuz had a strong performance too, With having a semi match harder then his final beating Seson (MOA) 1-0 then following it up with a near tech, beating Gonda (WAN) With Corpuz being the OIA winner i see him in the finals against Berger(STL) question is Can he beat the narrative of being a 3x runner up or does he get it done in his SR year handing Berger his First loss?
132: Multiple 132’s look super strong to place at state this year, Ryker made it super easy Teching Tabayoyong(CAM).
138: well, what else is there to comment other than Mr. TYGER TAAM anyways Lol probably gonna see another round of Taam dominance over anyone who can make it to finals (probably shigemoto again) but going through it shigemoto made taam appear gassed and gave him some rubs in the 3rd period
144: Porter looks good just a little gas tank issues still is as technical and nimble as ever though. Might have to tone down the big entertainment moves. He could probably place anywhere from 2-4 in state. I still believe no matter what Mikah will win
150: Adiniwin was super nimble throughout the tournament with elite scrambling to equip him with an OIA title Had some very impressive moves in the bag, Probably should’ve been a pin sooner , If he can get on the right side of the bracket he can make it to the finals or at least placing top 4
157: similar to taam Goes is just on another level interested to see how the very ultra likely round 5 against xander to finalize the tie at 2-2
165: Mayhem is messing up the bracket he could have a serious match with Nishida in the state final
175: Tanele had a very entertaining opening final against raphael.
215: awesome match between Saile and Stephen, what a way to start it with a speed vs Strength match and stephen closing the exciting match in OT
285: Lauifi looks unreal for a 285, pulling things outta his big bag with speed and pace rivaling that of lightweights

The officiating was suspect as usual despite having TWO officials in the matches. Most of them are just too old, slow, and out of shape to officiate efficiently, especially with the speed of the smaller guys. Gotta give Kato his props. Came back from a bad knee injury two months ago, and I think he fell off a lot of OIA radars before winning westerns despite going against somewhat weaker competition. Wrestled smart and very technical against the slippery Corpuz, and didn’t let Lum capitalize on his size and strength advantage. He won’t win states with Kusumoto, Lau, Del Rosario, and Dudoit in the field, but just making the podium after what he went through would surely be a successful season. he has my vote for OIA comeback wrestler.

ILH results and thoughts on the finals that I caught.
106 - Garcia won semis and finals off his length for the most part. The other wrestlers couldn't seem to deal with it well
113 - Eli Suan show, nothing to see here
120 - Kusumoto wins 3-2. Lau seemed to try to win the match from the start by trying to get the refs to call stalling on Kusumoto. Spent every opportunity attempting to push him out of bounds(from neutral, top, and bottom). Kusumoto got the only takedown, but Lau was very close scoring won as time expired in the second period. Since they are using true seeding at States, Del Rosario-1 Kusumoto-2 Lau-3.
126 - Was a close match 2-2 in the second and Landford almost scored a takedown but came up short due to Bergers stellar defense. Landford and Corpuz had an interesting match their sophomore year that resulted in Corpuz making the finals and Landford getting tossed from the tournament(unfairly imho).... Maybe they will get to run it back.
132 - Kekauoha by MFF over Otsuka-Bence
138 - McKenzie over Kashiwabara by fall. Dominant performance. Should be McKenzie and Shigemoto in the semis again like last year
144 - Paaluhi was losing the neutral battles against Sekigawa, then forced a bad postion and capitalized with the fall again
150 - Cobb-Adams by MFF over Mercado. Mercado looked fine in the semis using mostly arm drags to earn takedowns against Pavao. Due to true seeding at the State tournament I foresee Cobb-Adams-1 and Mercado-2 with Baldwin-3(sorry his name escapes me rn)
157 - Erolin over Balisacan 11-3. He controlled the whole match and let Balisacan on his legs multiple times, but he was unable to finish.
165 - Nishida by MFF over Machida... nothing to see here, but am looking forward to Nishida v Woolsey. They should be the 1 and 2 seeds.
175 - Tuikolongahau over Ito 8-1, but it looked as if he could have pinned him multiple times, but was allowing him to wrestle out of the situations. It wasn't as close as the score would indicate.
190 - Upset of the tournaments - Harbottle wins in rideouts over McCreadie. McCreadie's gas tank has looked suspect the last couple of times I've seen him and it cost him this time. Harbottle scored with a late cradle to force overtime.
215 - Miller(who had been wrestling 285 for KSK) won fairly easily over Altmare(StL), but I'm not sure he can compete with the top dogs. But we'll see in a couple of weeks
285 - StL rolled out Catrett as their end of year starter and he made quick work of Martin in the finals. A definite threat to make the finals in a couple weeks.
Girls - Every weight had the 1 seed winning and fairly comfortably. There were some good battles and the only "upset" in the finals was at 140 where a teammate knocked off her own teammate in the finals.
115 - was a battle where Mizue eventually finished on top over Jeremiah, but it was an intense match .
120 - Paragas squeaked out a close one with Nishida that was always in the balance.
125 - DeAngelo had to dig deep in order to win late over a recently returned Olkowski

What do you mean by true seeding (is this different criteria from last year)?
I get Mercado is a great wrestler who has a deep pedigree from years past but it seems a little unfair for him to clinch the 2 seed while wrestling only 1 full match the entire regular season.

@scoredtwooo - they've only ever "seeded" the champs of each league. This year they're going to use a seeding criteria to seed the best 8 in the state while keeping the champs in the top 8 somewhere.

Since Mercado has very few matches(2) the criteria he will beat most on will be previous placement from last year.

True seeding might have the top 3 seeds at 106 all by from the OIA. This will be interesting to say the least

I see that a lot of people say that mayhem and nishida are the top seeds for states, but i think the weight class is way more stacked than that. Nai hasegawa who got 2nd last year is also at 165 after moving up from 157. Then ikaika gonzales who beat hasegawa for mil is also at 165. Gonzales also beat mayhem at officials this year. Machida from iolani is also a state placer from a year ago. It will be interesting to see who they will seed for the top 4 seeds.

@bigbreaker808 - you're right. I hadn't realized those guys had moved up until earlier today. Woolsey might end up the 4 seed as a result. Will definitely be more interesting than I had originally thought.
@wowzag - I talked to the guy that runs Bedrock and basically he loved doing it but the financial return to time spent wasn't worth it. He also got a bit burned out. I did see him at ILH championships though. He definitely loves the sport and if he had more sponsor money he would have continued

I see that a lot of people say that mayhem and nishida are the top seeds for states, but i think the weight class is way more stacked than that. Mayhem’s physique looks like a defensive back! Can’t imagine how much work he put in from last season…his shoulder was a wreck.
