Reloading indeed, with big shoes to fill. Looking forward to seeing all of the newcomers in action.

I watched the 2020 UH vs. Grand Canyon match on YouTube. There was a camera shot of Charlie Wade's son Kainoa. Was that the same kid who's now a 6 foot 8 inches high school student?

Looks like UH has a franchise setter in Tread Rosenthal. In the volleytalk site there was over reaction to a loss to Loyola of Chicago. If both teams were vying as bubble teams in getting into the tournament. UH did split the series with one being a sweep.

Going to be an interesting season with so many newcomers needing to mesh with the veterans and new starters on the court.

Are the bench players allowed to over celebrate like the Bozos in men's college volleyball? I memba that the Long Beach St. bench did that sarcastic canoe paddling celebration. I think that stop when UH started to beat Long Beach St.

Spyros Chakas is a fierce competitor who went all out on every play. That's why UH fans appreciated him.

The Stan Sheriff Arena didn't play Brother Iz's "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" during the senior night ceremony. That song gives it a more chicken skin feel to the celebration.
