As a birthday present to his mother, Kamehameha’s Ezra Evaimalo announced his oral commitment to accept a 2020 football scholarship from the Rainbow Warriors.
“Basically, I tried to pay her back,” Evaimalo told the Warrior Beat today. “It doesn’t add to up what she’s done for me.”
Evaimalo, a junior, said he is 6 feet 2 and 225 pounds. He will play a hybrid defensive end/outside linebacker position for Kamehameha during his senior season this fall. As a 2020 recruit, the earliest he may sign a binding national letter of intent is in December.
High motor relentless player.....but will have to adjust to playing stand-up OLB.....which hopefully he's get some experience playing this coming senior season.....since has played almost exclusively In 3-point down DE position thus far through his sophomore & junior seasons.
He will likely be a DE since he lacks agility and speed for OLB. Could be a solid contributor since ppl seem to bounce off of him, which means he's powerful. He explodes of the ball, has violent hands and can hold the point, so interior DL is where he probably belongs.
Be humble and confident in yourself and all things you do.

To be the ILH defensive player of the year you got to be one special athlete. There are some really good ILH defensive players going to P5 schools. To get a player of this caliber is huge.
Not doubting, not hating, not loving, just hoping because I am a fan.
