Coach will be fondly remembered for always being his true genuine self.....never with any scripted coach-speak.... https://twitter.com/mitchcarrtv/status/1602676707873488907 https://twitter.com/CBSSportsHQ/status/1602684280185954310 https://twitter.com/ESPN_Schick/status/1602686029382750208 https://twitter.com/JustinESports/status/1602666454767239169 https://twitter.com/CUBarstool/status/1602676075745939467 https://twitter.com/MootePoints/status/1602672725939683332 https://twitter.com/JerryDunleavy/status/1602669275738669056 https://twitter.com/74Talk/status/1602671585168691200 https://twitter.com/Super70sSports/status/1602161993397538823 https://twitter.com/TheoLawson_SR/status/925545513125945344

After SMU, Coach Abe was a GA for Coach Leach at Wazzu for the 2012 season.

I remember when Leach locked Craig James' son in the equipment room for three hours while at Texas Tech. The guy definitely did and said some off-the-wall poop.

Rest in Peace, Sir.

Greg McMackin and Dave Aranda were both Texas Tech assistants under Leach. Lane Kiffin also talked about his post game hugs with his mentor after each Mississippi rivalry game. He was kinda like Bill Belichick in many ways. Yeah...kinda sad to see a legend pass away at the top of his game.
