Got to agree with that. Yellen couldn't get 100 yds against a FCS school. Hope TC sticks with Schager for the rest of the year. He can't improve if he's always getting pulled.

I agree too. That’s the problem.

He and his receivers need all the first team reps they can get.

I agree and have been saying that. Especially if they intend to go with the r&s. JJ has said as much.

We saw what he can do last year in the three games he started. This is not the same guy. It's time to point back to the coaches. The offense just looks awful. Norm Chow lost games because he ran the same predictable (old school) plays. IMO, the execution was there.

The offense now just don't look sync.

The implementation on the run and shoot is certainly inching along. Schager and his receivers still not where they need to be. There are small improvements being made, but there were times last night when I sure did miss Bryant Moniz or Inoke Funaki as those running lanes for the QB were wide open highways.

Considering the team has had a total of four weeks practicing the run and shoot I like the progress. I also like blending the R&S with Shoemakers offense. The running game with the backs we have adds a dimension that Ds are going to struggle to deal with.

The return of Zion Bowens really helps our passing game.
Koali Nishigaya is going to get one to the house soon 😀

I'm also interested in seeing more of 6'3" Freshman WR Nick Cenacle.

Schaeger did what he had to do to win this game. With our running game, the size and speed of Bowens and the youngster, pass catching RBs with speed, the practice reps and QB and receiver game experience this team will be very dangerous by the SanJo game.

Looked like Schager got more zip on the ball too. Instead of looking slow like a dead duck.
