NCAA shouldn't allow this. It should be a 15 penalty just like it is for hitting a QB when he's sliding. If I was on the officiating crew for the next Pitt game, I wouldn't throw a flag if someone hit him while he was sliding.

An unwritten rule became a written rule real fast. This is like in baseball when there's a pop fly and a runner behind on base yells "I got it" to distract the fielder.

There was a game on Saturday where the QB did this and the refs ruled him down at the point of the fake
