The way things are going locally with Covid right now with the rising number of cases, the Gov may not allow fans for full, or even half capacity. The count needs to go down, and people need to stay safe and healthy, limit their partying and socializing.

This is a good looking stadium! I can easily see the additional seats being added after the end of the season. Glad they have the fencing along the sides of the stands. Wish there was a way to get the band somehow situated nearby with a wide screen.

If those hard bleachers made your bottom sore on sight...today via email, permanent-ish seat cushions were offered to season ticket buyers. For $54, a 2" thick cushion with seat back will be placed at your seat location for the duration of the season. I went for it. The metal bleachers at Campbell destroyed my back, so I'm not taking any chances.

got an email from the u.h. ticket office, they are offering cushioned seats with back for all home games at $54 a seat.

At least UH athletics is listening to the fans about the bench seats and can install cushioned seats with backs for those who pay for it. Bench seats are killers for many folks.

sounds like the u.h. will only be renting the seats for the season. not sure if each will be marked with the seat location so you get the same seat to imprint with your uniqueness. as you said, it's good to know someone at the u.h. is listening.
