*****Official Hawaii vs. Boise Game Thread*****
According to BetOnline.ag and VegasInsider.com, Boise is a 13 point favorite. Just where we want to be, a double digit underdog.

Bryan Harsin is the $2m a year coach that opposes us this week. Considering that we have been beaten by the Donkeys severely these past ten years...I'd say a reckoning is long over due. Neither the Warriors nor the Donkeys are the teams they used to be. Imua, Hawaii.

Boise State doesn't look as dominating as in the past but still better than UW. We need a mistake free game.

Go Warriors! Overachieve if need be!!

I think whoever does the ranking poles likes a few things about Hawaii. We have traveled well up the rankings from where we started the year. Undoubtedly there is some talent and great players on the team. Boise is probably going to be the toughest game yet. We have however seem to be fixing some things and if we play without errors and they don't we might win. I hope they can walk away from the game with their heads held up high. That would be awesome win or lose (but win!)
GO WARRIORS !!! PLAY HARD!!!!

With a 14 - 7 win over 2 and 3 Marshall?!! Signature wins over 3-2 AFA and 3-2 FSU?!!! They handled Portland State and UNLV too...okay. This is their biggest game of the year so far. We've got this.

Recall that fake McDonald stunt?
I think UH should let the 2nd team play Boise, therefore CC.
Throw them off completely. There are enough scouting film on every UH starter now, this season. Boise have been studying film and are ready.
Let the 2nd string guys play, Q1 and Q2. Create that "shock and awe" (or WTF feeling).
Bring McDonald and the Starters back in Q3, so they are all fresh, to finish them off.

If the Warriors can get ahead early, and at least one defensive stop ... get chance. Having played Washington on the road will help us!!!

UW had really physical defensive backs. They pushed our receivers around. I don't think we're going to see the same in Boise. They are going to test UH's defense with a lot of runs though.
Re: *****Official Hawaii vs. Boise Pre-Game Thread*****
if hawaii is successful with getting the ball to receivers, that spreads the defense and opens up the run. if hawaii plays possession football and keeps boise state's offense on the bench, hawaii has a chance.
of course scoring early and often would help.

Looks like Brockmeier, their QB stays in the pocket and waits until the last minute to get his receivers. #24 looks like an elusive runner for Boise. For things to come, this is the FSU game.

Really nervous. Timmy Chang team couldn’t win at Boise and has the most picks ever. Colt Brennan team couldn’t win at Boise in 2006 and that was probably our best team ever. Bryant Moniz team couldn’t win at Boise in 2010. I just hope that McDonald and the boys can do it. Please!!!

The losing streak at Boise has to end sometime, and I just hope it ends on Saturday.couz808 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 08, 2019 9:09 pm Really nervous. That 2006 game was a good one, We came back late to cut the deficit to 7 and almost tied it up in the end but came out short.
