One of Hawaii’s best high school football players has decided to stay home and defend Pride Rock.

Kahuku offensive lineman Micah Soliai Howlett, a three-star recruit according to 247Sports, announced on Twitter this evening that he is committing to the University of Hawaii after decommitting from Arizona State.

Can someone educate me on "Phase 2" What does that mean? Rolo used it. Does that mean 2nd year of R&S?

He will be good for Hawaii. But 295lbs? What do you eat up there in Kahuku? That's a nice size, but we are talking about high school students.

Mose was about 340 last year. The kid at farrington is about 340. 300 is not huge for a high school offensive lineman.
