21 point underdogs...the good news is the game's on espn. yay...I can finally watch a game after the USC--now not so bad--drubbing. May the thunderhawks have stubbed toes and fumblilits. Wait, what are the Airforce guys called? It's been so long since we played them last. Is Fisher Debriar still head coach?

The Falcons. :D Troy Calhoun is their head coach.

And their option-run attack is ranked 2nd in the nation in yardage. *gulp!*

So, our defensive will have their hands full. So it's up to our offense to help them out, to keep the chains moving and to keep the Falcons offense off the field as long as possible.

I think the whole state of Hawaii (well, whatever fans are still faithful, that is :- ) will be holding our breath on Hawaii's first offensive series, to see how Higgins does as our new starting QB. [-o<

This is where we learn more about Tom Kaumeyer. Has he learned anything from the Nevada debacle and the New Mexico game? Has he instructed the players well enough this time around? I expect UH to lose big, but at least the basketball team has a good chance to beat Illinois.

the thin air and depth will be a problem for us.

But I am going out on a limb. I actually like our chances in this game.

It comes down to if Tom Kaumeyer has finally made the adjustments to the run option and we have to take care of the ball.

Why am I optimistic? I think we can run on these guys. If we can run then you will see us successful with the play action. They also have a small CB so we should be able to get open.

If we run effectively we will be able to win this one.

Just a hunch.

I hope you're right! :D

As for the thin air and climate, the good thing is the Warriors know from experience what to expect. The paper this morning said the Colorado State game gave the Warriors nosebleeds and numb feet. So now they're bringing extra socks, putting vaseline in their nostrils (to keep the sinus cavities moist), bringing hot soup for the sidelines. Trying whatever they can to fight the cold.

A record third game shown on tv here in Australia (USC,BYU) this year. usually we might get 1 and hope to make it to the Hawaii Bowl.

Going to bar down the road to watch it with about 15 others from our football club.

Anyone know who's gonna start at qb? Chow said on the coach's show that they were gonna decide on monday. Watching the game at 9 on the east coast and i'm hoping to see Higgins take the first snap.

There's college basketball before the game, expect coverage to start about halfway through the 1st quarter

If Higgins can get the ball into the hands of different receivers early in the game, it will make all the difference in the world as it would spread out the offense and make the defense second guess themselves. Getting the ball into as many receivers as possible also will make the receivers run 100% of their routes 100% of the time making the offense that much more effective.

Go Warriors.. Go Higgins... GO HAWAII! Whootah!

Hopefully SS takes this as an opportunity to gain some valuable insight from the sidelines.

ashley lelie, according to the recent na koa lunch report, showed receivers messing up on just about everything in the past game... just sayin'...
