2-0 in the WAC heading home would be nice . . . . .
As long as UH is not staying in the mainland in between

Good thing the team gets a week off. A college student myself, I couldn't imagine missing that much school. Tutors or not, that would make things very difficult.

I'm still lost on something. Why did UH get the ball to begin both halves?
Hawaii deferred to receive the kick-off, then Tech deferred. It was a bone-head call by the Tech captain.

I think Bobby Bucher was La Tech's captain for today's game.

Moniz was putting the ball up in the air...
with eyes closed...
falling backwards...
all night long.

We are damn lucky the Tech defenders could neither see the ball, nor catch the ball.

This is the type of game we are lucky to win...just as we were unlucky to win last week's game.

They do that in practice don't they? drop their heads and throw the ball blind. It's one of the drills to be able to throw the ball where they think the receiver will be without really having to look while they are throwing and not telegraph where they are throwing to. I guess that helps in situations like last night.
