I'm just wondering as a mainlander what you islanders thought of Hawaii 5-0 and Magnum, P.I.
Plus, which was the better show.
By the way, what happened in the series finale for Magnum, P.I.? I never saw it. I heard that Magnum figured out that Higgins was also Robin Masters.
The A & E Network used to run the show at 9 a.m. CST but, it doesn't anymore. I miss it.

It figures. Higgins WOULD do something like that! They had the classic male version of a love/hate relationship!H20 wrote:The Higgins/Masters thing wasnt settled. Higgins said he was Robin Masters straight out in the last episode but then told Magnum later that he lied leaving it open again.
My mother thought that one of the actor died years after the series ended. If true, WHO?
Rumor has it that there'll be a full-length movie on the show. Hope Tom Selleck goes back as Magnum. He's the only one that can play the character.

New show "Hawaii"
Hey Wyokie and all you Warrior Fan on the Mainland,
Did you see the new weekly show "Hawaii" on NBC...
Premiered this week and gotta say it was pretty good...
Great views of the islands, great local music by Hawaiian Artist (including the late Braddah Iz), and not over doing the local "Pidgin English"..
This coming Monday and Wednesday they are showing the 2nd and 3rd shows of the season..
Hope they are showing it in your neck of the woods..

I've seen it. I like it. It's not "Magnum, P.I." but it's FAR better than "North Shore."BigWave96744 wrote:Hey Wyokie and all you Warrior Fan on the Mainland,

Since starting my passion for researching on Hawaii (partly for my trip in 2006), I have "heard" of Braddah Iz. I'll have to pay attention more to the soundtrack while watching the next episode.

Hawaii off the air
NBC has taken "Hawaii" off the air because it has gotten clobbered by "Lost"...

Somehow, that doesn't surprise me.BigWave96744 wrote:NBC has taken "Hawaii" off the air because it has gotten clobbered by "Lost"...
Is "Lost" filmed on one of the Hawaiian Islands, not to sound stupid?

Not stupid
Yes "Lost" is filmed on Oahu..
I only saw the show once and I assume that it suppose to be some deserted island and makes no reference to Hawaii..
