What does your screen name mean?
I wanted to start a thread where everyone can explain what their "screen name" stands for or if there is a story behind it. I know some may not want to give away their secret identity or have self explanatory names like "Scott" but I thought this could be really interesting!
My screen name is Scott and it stands for my birth name, "Scott." In Scottish my name means wanderer. I don't have any nicknames mainly because names don't get much shorter then "Scott." If you ask Killa he might say my nickname is "Bully", but I don't agree.

I got mine from my dad's website, http://www.wyokies.com
Mine's probably the most straightforward, explaination-wise.

I was gonna suggest a while ago that we identify ourselves in the same fashion that one of the Hawaii's newspapers compared players. Liked, dislikes, nicknames, height, favorite actors, musicians, but that may be too personal for some.
BK obviously stands for Brooklyn (New York City) where I was born (actually, I was born in a hospital in Bedford Styvesant but our home was in Coney Island) Warrior stands for many things. I am a Hawaii Warrior fan, and the Warriors was a movie in my hometown, the CI Coney Island.
My other nicknames include, Italianeri (black-italian), BK (hometown) and get this...J-Dub (i don't use that for obvious reasons). My girlfriend calls me Subarashii in her e-mails to me, but I have no clue what the hell that means. Nay Japaneese people on this site?

subarashii means wonderful, splendid, magnificent! You sure she doesn't add, "ku nai" at the end of it?

Not in the e-mails. Wow, that's cool. What nickname can I give her? Hmmm. I wonder why she didn't tell me what it meant, almost like she refused to. She's strange, she's only a small percentage of japaneese, but she seems to want to be fully japaneese, shame. Anyone know the word for Goddess of angel in japaneese? Heh, yeah, I got game!

Hey BK, last time I was on Oahu, I went to a wholesale jeweler.BKWarrior wrote:Not in the e-mails. Wow, that's cool. What nickname can I give her? Hmmm. While I was there I noticed and fell in love with a necklace that read "Ku'uipo."
It was handmade in Hawai'i by a Hawai'ian artisan. I bought it for my wife.
Since then Ku'uipo has become my nickname for her.
Ku'uipo means... "Hard-Up Idiot Who Married a Dumb A$$"
Not really, I'm pulling your leg, BK. Can you feel it?
Ku'uipo really means... "Sweetheart."
I don't think that it's Japanese, though. I was told it was Hawai'ian.
Would that offend your girlfriend? My wife actually thinks it's pretty cool.
As far as my screenname goes, well, I'm not really sure.
I think that it may have something to do with the fact that I'm a UH Warrior fan
who happens to live in Temecula, CA. Yeah, that's probably it.

Just some good-natured rubbing.
It's kinda like my screen name on GOWYOGO, OKC Poke. I'm living in Oklahoma City and I root for the UW Pokes.

I created my screen name ever since the message boards went to registration. I used to go by the name of Footbow, Basketbow, Basebow, and Volleybow during the early years of the RSN board for our 4 main sports when registration was not required. Since most message boards has gone to registration now, I had to combine all the sports, thus creating my name SPORTSBOW!

The literal translation is sweet heart, but the meaning is something like to bribe your best friend's woman into sex with sweet goodies that are usually made from coconut milk and taro.TemeculaWarrior wrote:Man, that really burns me, that I was taken advantage of like that.Scott wrote:LOL who told you Ku'uipo means "Sweetheart?" Wyokie,
Why is it that when a new Angel is introduce you give your full life story (Born in Casper, Wyoming... At age 5 I went to my first football game... My Elementary classmate eventually became the roommate of a University of Wyoming walkon waterboy. Then in HS I moved to Oklahoma where, my team's offense ran the perverted version of BYU's passing attack. We did however win the 10A championship under 75 MPH winds... I continue to live in Oklahoma though I hate OU, OkSt, and Tulsa. So that's why they call me Wyokie)
When Scott ask you just reply:
BTW, for me:
Bigwave is not only a nickname given to me, but something that continues to challenge me and keep me stoked as a grom. Big Waves cannot be defined in terms of size because it can be different for every individual. Also once you conquered what you thought was big, then you want to go bigger Big Wave should never be taken lightly... Big Risks = Big Commitment = Big Rewards
96744 is my stomping grounds from Small Kid Time...
Capice?
