I beg to differ on this point. China is not the cause. The virus originiated in China and quickly spread throughout the world. They may have fed misinformation for a few months but the statement sounds so much like the rhetoric that Trump and his crew is spreading that its the China virus. Let's blame the problems of the world on China... why don't we?SundayJam wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 5:02 am I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news...but Trump has handled this pandemic in the worst possible way...on a global scale. Yes, China originated this pandemic. China is the cause. Trump took it to a new level and continues to do so. India, Brazil, and Russia trail us...not for lack of information...but for lack of means. They are poor, backward countries...struggling to grasp a breath. I understand and empathize with their dilemma...but America? How has it come to this?!!!
In their defense...…...it's the State of Florida aka Looney Tunes Central aka Florida man or woman.shrek2 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 3:42 pm This is funny coming from a University residing in a state where Governor DeSantis home state. Some people follow their leaders too much. They don't take the virus seriously.
It was the Florida Gator coach that was calling for he 90,000 fans last Saturday. In all likelihood a Trump supporter but maybe not a DeSantis supporter.wyokie wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 6:46 pmIn their defense...…...it's the State of Florida aka Looney Tunes Central aka Florida man or woman.shrek2 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 3:42 pm This is funny coming from a University residing in a state where Governor DeSantis home state. DeSantis was the idiot who proclaimed WWE and a essential business way back in April. DeSantis is a lot like he rest of the GOP, just supporting the man.Last Saturday afternoon, Florida coach Dan Mullen was pushing for his school to allow some 90,000 fans to jam Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville for this week’s matchup with LSU.
There's a kernel of truth in his rhetoric. This rhetoric came about only after Xi didn't help Trump get re-elected. China is the source, but Trump amplified the problem. The fact that Trump knew about this great danger, and yet ignored it, is the crux of the matter. The Woodward tapes, yet again, reveal an American villain. China and Trump are equally to blame. They both spread played this pandemic as self-interested, corrupt politicians would: they down-played it to keep the cash flowing. Shoot, China promotes the killing of exotic animals to cure disease. This is a medieval practice the West abandoned for science some time ago. Xi Jin Ping has made it a criminal offense to criticize traditional Chinese medicine. Well...the Republicans continue to deny science as well. I'm sorry, I see no difference between the Republican/Trump Doo-Dahs and CCP.shrek2 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 10:50 amI beg to differ on this point. China is not the cause. And still after some extremist threats against the Governor, Trump continues to stir the pot to try to get his political adversaries killed or jailed. I wished she was chosen as running mate long before one was chosen. Stay safe Governor Whitmer along with the rest of the family! You're my hero!
And those terrorist punks should be held with COVID positive, extremely sick patients - with no masks or social distancing.
Trump is like that fat white dude in a bar that had too much to drink and is complaining about all the troubles in the world because of women, blacks, Mexicans and Chinese. A lot of people just get up and leave, some try to have a conversation trying to drown out his loud talk, some try to pacify him and some actually agree with him and complain about the same thing. It's really a class war not a race war but this drunk in the bar has to have some people listen to him. Too bad this drunk gets a national stage. Brace for second wave of the coronavirus in a couple of weeks as we rely on the inept leadership of the bar drunk.
I couldn't disagree more. Trump is the president by mistake. The idiots who supported him did so by ignoring their ideology in support of an embarrassing Machiavellian ideology. The summation of modern Republicans amounts to the overturn of Roe V. Wade. There isn't anything else. They spend more and pollute more. Republicans complain about deficits, and yet they have contributed the most to America's debt. Donald Trump has contributed to America's debt the most. Continue to build your ineffective wall...continue to promote weird, ineffective antidotes for Covid-19.
This problem goes back to the 2016 election when the Democratic electorate put up the seriously flawed Hillary on the ballot and gave the independents and Hillary haters someone else to vote for. As bad as Trump was, and has since shown to be, Hillary was a far worse option at the time.SundayJam wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 3:51 amI couldn't disagree more. Trump is the president by mistake. I’m sorry I fail to see how Hilary was a “far worse option” at the time. Yeah she had her flaws, but anyone with an ounce of knowledge of government, domestic and international, and Trump’s business acumen knew they weren’t gonna mix well.My3Cats wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 8:58 amThis problem goes back to the 2016 election when the Democratic electorate put up the seriously flawed Hillary on the ballot and gave the independents and Hillary haters someone else to vote for.
