200,000 Americans are dead, because of politics. Where I live, only 59 people have died as a result of SARS. Currently, no one has locally-transmitted covid. We were a major hub for Chinese tourists. It is densely populated here. I saw the Chinese masses escaping their country in January and February wearing goggles and face-masks as tourists here. I have NEVER seen so many Chinese tourists. We shut down earlier and re-opened later than most. We wore protective masks. We still wear protective masks. I've got a box of washable masks on my desk as I write this.
Perhaps we do, in a sense, have fake news here in America. This is how foreign journalists treat Trump's mouth-pieces.
Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, oi, oi, oi... There's nothing corana virus related, but it goes to the voracity of Trump and his stooges.

Dr. Fauci calls Trump a liar on the doctor's supposed position on face-mask wearing.
Trump personally pushed the anti-mask policy from the very beginning and continues to mislead, and thereby kill, the people he is supposed to protect.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump said Thursday that he and first lady Melania Trump are beginning a “quarantine process” as they await coronavirus test results after a top aide he spent substantial time with this week tested positive for COVID-19.
Trump's comments came after he confirmed that Hope Hicks, one his closest aides, had tested positive for the virus Thursday. Hicks began feeling mild symptoms during the plane ride home from a rally in Minnesota Wednesday evening, according to an administration official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to disclose private information. She was quarantined away from others on the plane and her diagnosis was confirmed Thursday, the person said.
The WH Dicks failed to notify any of the press that accompanied him.

One of the best things that could happen to a country who's leader chose not to use his mask.

At the end Wallace does not have flattering things to say about Scott Atlas. He must have come from the basement of Stanford's Hoover Building which houses the psych patients.

I do not have any ill will towards the president or his supporters. I only have a negative opinion of their actions...or lack there-of. In this case, the president's lack of action may have sealed his fate. I sincerely pray that he survives this...if only to wallow in his demise. I do believe he is criminally responsible for this disaster. Perhaps, he can claim senility as Reagan did back in the day.

Eight new Covid-19 cases from five countries, including a Thai and a five-year-old American girl, were reported on Saturday, raising the total to 3,583 cases. They were all asymptomatic and in quarantine. The new cases were from India (2), United Arab Emirates (1), Russia (1), United States (3) and Pakistan (1), according to the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration..

Of the total 3,583 cases, 3,386 had recovered, including two released over the past 24 hours, and 138 others were in hospitals. The death toll remained at 59.
Global Covid-19 cases rose by 316,256 over the past 24 hours to 34.8 million and the worldwide. The death toll was up by 5,603 to 1.03 million. The United States had the most cases at 7.54 million, up by 61,103, followed by India, with 6.47 million cases, up by 79,974.
Brazil was third with 4.88 million cases, up by 31,022, while Thailand ranked 138th, the CCSA said.
While the Trump situation demonstrates the perils of refusing to wear a mask by even the most protected person on earth, those who wear masks have had no incidence of the SARS spread. Everyday life goes on without tourists. Yes, a lot of businesses shut their doors here, but most continued on. Measures to control a pandemic are simply science. The sacrifice of a few businesses is worth it. Everything is open here. Only, we don't have any tourists from abroad.

A study from Cornell released last week concluded that Trump himself was likely the largest driver of the COVID-19 misinformation to the public. Mistrust of the White House was fueled by conflicting information during Saturday’s update on the president’s health, including information about when Trump was first diagnosed that had to be corrected by a subsequent press release.

Covid-19 is no less lethal than the flu says Trump.
"Flu season is coming up! Many people every year, sometimes over 100,000, and despite the Vaccine, die from the Flu. Are we going to close down our Country? No, we have learned to live with it, just like we are learning to live with Covid, in most populations far less lethal!!!"
The American people have witnessed what is the greatest failure of any presidential administration in the history of our country,” Sen. Kamala Harris, Biden’s running mate, said in her first exchange of the night. “They knew what was happening and they didn’t tell you… They knew and they covered it up.”
Vice President Mike Pence responded with a tone less of anger than of disappointment. He laid out an argument where swift action from Trump prevented even more deaths from COVID-19.
“From the very first day, President Donald Trump has put the health of America first,” Pence said. Pence was also quick to suggest that Biden and Harris could risk lives by undermining confidence in a vaccine, after Harris said she wouldn’t take one based on Trump’s word.
“Stop playing politics with people’s lives,” Pence said.
How ironic. The United States is the worst country in the entire world in regard to its Covid-19 pandemic response. Many countries hosting massive Chinese tourist populations successfully controlled the spread in their countries. Trump put an ineffective ban on travel from China and blows his trumpet to claim success. How can the audience not see the results? Trump and Pence have been ineffective to put a little more kindly.
