So, Desantis and Ducey need to really look at their leadership in the pandemic and how much pain and suffering it has caused many people.
Yet another GOP Governor Brian Kemp sues Atlanta mayor for forcing the use of masks.

Are you stupid or something? A line said many times in Forrest Gump. Is the entire Republican party so messed up?

A Utah State county meeting had to be cancelled because it turned into an anti-mask protest.
"Wearing a mask is an act of submission..." is what they said.

The insanity is spreading from Georgia and Florida to other parts of the country.

Trump doesn't exercise because he believes it depletes his life-battery. This is not a joke.

Globally, Covid-19 cases rose at the fastest pace yet over the past 24 hours, by 255,010 to 13.95 million, Dr Taweesilp said. The death toll rose by 5,856 to 592,677. The United States had the most cases at 3.69 million, up by 73,388, and the most deaths at 141,118, up by 978.

Brazil ranked second, with the number of cases rising to 2.01 million, up by 43,829, with 76,822 deaths, up by 1,299. Thailand ranked 101st.

This is a photo of a motor show taken this week. We still have had no locally spread covid19 cases for some time now, but we did have a recent scare due to diplomatic privilege. An Egyptian army person in transit was allowed to break quarantine and go shopping...and a Sudanese diplomat's family somehow avoided the quarantine. Both tested positive for the virus.

I would say we are 90% open here with no threat of contagion, but we all still wear masks. This is some spooky, apocalyptic stuff we're dealing with here. Please, stop politicizing a simple fact of science. Wear a mask and protect your loved ones. Wear a mask and you can return to a full economy with one minor handicap...a mask.

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany told reporters Tuesday that "the media has tried to scare the American people" on the coronavirus.

McEnany was defending similar comments from Vice President Mike Pence's May op-ed titled "There Isn't a Coronavirus 'Second Wave."

Since then, the virus has spiked in states across the country, totalling 141,118 deaths and more than 3.8 million confirmed cases, both world records so far, according to the Johns Hopkins University Coronavirus Resource Center.

"There are real costs to a draconian extended shutdown, and you never heard the other side of the health equation," McEnany said.
Vietnam: 0 corona virus deaths. Thailand: 58 deaths. These are countries VERY close to the source. America is still sinking under the first wave of the pandemic because of science deniers. Science is real people...and Trump is finally promoting masks 7 months after this calamity began. Well done, Mr. President. Well done.

Trump is a clown like Mary Trump infers. He blames Biden and Obama for stopping testing three years before the pandemic occurred.

Okay...so, I think I'm gonna retire from this thread. It seems the president is trying to re-write history while simultaneously down-playing the dangers of the pandemic. For 7 months, Trump has said that the pandemic was no big deal...and we should all ignore it. Now, he says it's the governors' fault...and the BLM movement...and the dirty Mexicans. Auwe!

The total number of cases is now 3,269, of whom 3,105 have recovered and been discharged. Meanwhile, 106 patients remained at hospitals, and all of them were quarantined returnees. The death toll was frozen at 58, Dr Panprapa said.

She said that 151 Thai soldiers returned from a military exercise in Hawaii on Wednesday evening, of whom 140 were not ill and were taken to quarantine in Chon Buri. Ten others had fevers with excessive phlegm and coughing. They were tested at Phramongkutklao Hospital in Bangkok. and were waiting for the results.

The other soldier had a chronic disease unrelated to Covid-19.

Global Covid-19 daily infections hit a new high over the previous 24 hours at 279,904, raising the total to 15.37 million. The worldwide death toll rose by 7,038 to 630,193. The US had the most cases at 4.10 million, up by 72,306, and the most deaths at 146,183, up by 1,230.
Eh! No give da virus to us. Wear a mask, please.

The government on Friday reported 10 new coronavirus disease patients, all returnees staying in state quarantine facilities.

Taweesilp Visanuyothin, spokesman for the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration, said on Friday morning the new cases included one returnee each from Sudan, Pakistan, Germany and the Netherlands, and six soldiers returning from the United States. All were in state quarantine facilities.

This is cheap propaganda. A few snapshots of human beings doing just that...being what they are.
I'm quite certain both Dr. Fauci and Cuomo promote and actively wear masks. Dr. Fauci sitting with friends in an open air
event with no one else near is the least 'gotcha' moment of the two.

This is why mask mandates are necessary. We all slip up at times. We just have to minimize those slip ups.

The other two returnees from the US were a 14-year-old student and a 23-year-old employee who arrived on July 11 and were sent to a state quarantine facility in Bangkok. They underwent coronavirus tests on July 23. The former had a sore throat while the latter showed no symptoms, the centre said.

The new infections brought the total number of cases in the country to 3,282, with fatalities unchanged at 58. Of the infected patients, 3,109 had recovered, including two new recovering cases, or 94.73%. A total of 115 patients remained in hospitals.

Global Covid-19 cases stood at 15.93 million, up by 287,264 over the previous 24 hours, with 642,622 deaths. The United States had the most cases at 4.24 million, increasing by 78,336.

Brazil was second, with the number of cases rising to 2.34 million, up by 58,249. Thailand ranked 105th among 211 affected countries.
If the government tests people and gets quick results while the majority of the local populous wear masks and practice sanitary action, that country CAN eliminate this disease. I am living it, man. I am back to teaching little kids in a close, private classroom. The only fear of the pandemic that I feel is people returning from places like America. In my deepest, darkest dream, I would never have thought that living here would be safer than back home. Things have got to change.

Sure enough...this is a repeat. I have no idea how it happened. Sorry about that. *post deleted*

I'll replace this error with a relevant one:

I have to agree with you here. There are only a few leaders that propagandize the "don't wear masks." One that was obvious was Trump at the beginning of the pandemic through his actions. According to the news, he gets tested sometimes twice a day while others needing testing do not get tested. 22 Secret Service agents tested positive for the virus after the Tulsa rally.
