Passengers on Hawaiian Airlines’s flight 446 experienced a bit of time travel to start off their new year.

The flight, which traveled from Auckland, New Zealand to Honolulu, Hawaii, was scheduled to depart at 11:55 p.m. on
Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017. However, because of a 10-minute delay, the flight didn’t end up taking off until 12:05 a.m. on
Monday, Jan. 1, 2018.

Due to the time difference between New Zealand and Hawaii — the former is 23 hours ahead of the latter — passengers
ended up landing at 10:16 a.m., back on Dec. 31 in 2017.

The Bizarre Reason February Only Has 28 Days

No, it's not because it's terrible and everyone wants it to end immediately.

February is a terrible month. By the time it arrives, we’re sick of the cold, sick of our winter clothes, and in many cases,
just plain old sick. Fortunately, it’s a short month—just 28 days. But why?

Turns out, it’s not because everyone in the history of the human race has hated February. The month’s quirky timing dates
back to the 10-month Roman calendar, which began in March and ended in December. That’s right. For a while, January and
February didn’t even exist. To the Romans, who made their lot by planting and harvesting, winter was a nameless, dateless
slog. For part of the year, there was literally no system for keeping track of the days.

lane and causing traffic. Many people on Twitter praised the cop. Screenshot from Stephen Wheeles' Twitter

If you're someone bothered by slow drivers in the left lane, then this police officer might be your new hero.

A tweet from Sgt. Stephen Wheeles, a public information officer for the Indiana State Police, has recently gone viral because
of the way the cop handled an alleged slow poke in what is supposed to be the passing lane.

"I stopped this vehicle today for a left lane violation on I-65," Wheeles tweeted. "The driver had approximately 20 cars slowed
behind her because she would not move back to the right lane.

It's not every day that you come across a dog that looks like a sheep.

But for dog groomer Yoriko Hamachiyo, it's not all that unusual.

Hamachiyo owns a dog salon called Yorikokoro in Japan that produces delightfully fluffy pooches.

The work this groomer does is astounding. In fact, it'll make you want to travel all the way to Japan just so Hamachiyo
can do your hair.

When a young Birmingham college student's car broke down the night before he was supposed to start a new job, he didn't
panic. At least not for long.

Instead, Walter Carr walked. From Homewood to Pelham. All night. In the dark. 20 miles or more.

Peyton Manning has hilarious message for incoming rookie quarterbacks

There were 11 quarterbacks selected in the 2019 NFL Draft, and Peyton Manning is really hoping one of them breaks his rookie
record.

While Manning is mostly known for his high-level play on the football field, he owns a record that not too many people want. As a
22-year-old rookie for the Colts, he threw 28 interceptions. This isn't a single-season record; that was set by George Blanda, who
threw a remarkable 42 interceptions in 1962.
