I'm a crossover Republican voting for Obama in this election, I hope he does well in Wyoming.
Not surprised. It was Wyoming's delegation that won John Kennedy the Democratic ticket in the 1960 Domecratic Covention.

Hey Wyokie,

I leave tommorrow to visit my close friend in Grand Rapids, South Dakota. I saw how close it was to the Wyoming border so I might as well take a detour and head that way just to say that I have been to Wyoming. We plan on visiting Mt. Rushmore, going skiing, checking out the badlands, and whatever is there to do in that neck of the woods.

Mt. Rushmore is close to the Wyoming-South Dakota state line. Just stay on I-90 until you get to Sundance, wyoming then, head northwest about 30 minutes or so and you'll see Devil's Tower. It was in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" back in 1980. It's the lava tube of a volcano that disappeared thousands of years ago from erosion. Several indian tribes in the area have similar stories about why the monolith seem to have bear claw marks on it's side.

Devil's Tower is the nation's first-ever national monument.

Only been there once.

That's Jackson Hole's county, the richest in the state. A lot of billionairies AND movie stars have places there.

on a side note, whenever i get around to finally ordering bison, i'll get the majority of my first order from:
http://www.buffalogal.com

i already e-mailed them to see if they do ship to HI and they said "yes".

i find that they have the best deals as far as the mix of cuts that you can get in one order compared to other bison sites & their 'specials/combos'

i will either get:

1) the STEAK & BURGER SAMPLER
Image

Receive 10 pounds of extra lean 100% Ground Bison in 1 lb. packs AND your choice of the following premium Bison Steaks:

6 (8-10 oz) Ribeye Steaks OR
6 (8-10 oz) New York Strips OR
4 (8-10 oz) Filet Mignons OR
8 (8-10 oz) Top Sirloin Steaks

-OR-

2) Overstock Special
Image

2 (8-10 oz) Bison Top Sirloin Steaks
4 (8-10 oz) Bison Sirloin Tip Steaks
2 (8-10 oz) Bison Tri-Tip Steaks
2 boneless Bison Roasts (4-6 lbs)
5 lbs. Ground Bison (1 lb packs)

its kinda tough to decide between the 2...
