Re: Does anyone have questions about Wyoming in general?
I am back from my trip to South Dakota. We went to see Mt. Rushmore and the Sylvan Lake (these two were in the National Treasure II movie). We also hiked Devil's Tower and had lunch with the devil himself. My crazy friend decided to go off the designated trail and climb the tower, we went about as high as you can go and started to go around the tower. It was SOO scary and there were some close calls we both had. There was snow on the rocks and we both thought about sleeping between the rocks and start our way down the next day since we both got ourselves in a rut-we were climbing at night and we couldn't see jack! Thankfully the moon gave us some light and he had this flashlight with him. I was honestly terrified, I really thought this was it for us. I can't describe to you how Relieved I am to finally be in my place and type on this computer.

I'm impressed! Not many knows that. Wyoming Territory was the first modern government that allow the franchise (voting) to women.BigWave96744 wrote:BTW today is the 141st anniversary of Wyoming becoming a Territory of the US

and Wyokie has a habit of answering questions that arent asked. (not that that's necessarily a bad thing. he does have some interesting facts.)
and im surprised you beat our resident historian to the punch.

Re: Does anyone have questions about Wyoming in general?
Thanks. I love Wyoming and it's history. Aside from Hawaii, it has the most enjoyable history to read about. Can not get into reading about Oklahoma's history. It's like trying to read swahili.xer 21 wrote:well, its been 18 pages already.BigWave96744 wrote:8 months since this thread was updated..

I'm speechless BigWave knew about Wyoming's 141th Anniversary of becoming a territory.

Did ya guys know that after the movie Brokeback Mountain aired it caused a mass exodus of its citizens, thus wyoming now has the smallest population in the entire United States of America... and their state motto is "Equal Rights"...LMAO...
one other thing, have you ever participated in one of these??? Its called a "Gay Rodeo", seems to be popular in those parts...

You people have no lives.
Even before that stupid movie came out, Wyoming had the lowest population in the country!
BTW, Wyoming is gaining population with people coming in for jobs. Pinedale had a huge population explosion lately. The town has been giving away jobs without having to go thru an interview process!
