Re: Does anyone have questions about Wyoming in general?
I'm pretty sure none of you even heard of this even happening but it happened in May of 1986 in Cokeville, Wyoming (southwest part of the state; current pop. 506).

I'm beginning to wonder if it started the whole "let kill people for really dumb reasons - Columbine, Aurora Shooting about a month ago, 1995 OKC Bombing, etc....
Thankfully none of the children in the crisis were killed.

Most of these children should be in their MID 30s with families of their own...living in Cokeville, Wyoming. Oh that inhumanity of it all.....the part of living in Wyoming.wyokie wrote:I'm pretty sure none of you even heard of this even happening but it happened in May of 1986 in Cokeville, Wyoming ...Thankfully none of the children in the crisis were killed.

Poke, soon I'm thinking of taking the FAM to Wyo.
Piggy backing a football game would be great but this year is too soon.
Are the daytime temps manageable during football season, in regards to site seeing?

Daytime temps aren't that bad in the fall. But you will need jackets and maybe a heavy coat. Wyoming does get wintery fast. Only month where no snow has ever fallen in Wyoming has been August. Yes, we have had blizzards in July. One hit Yellowstone in the mid 1980s around the July holiday.BigWave96744 wrote:Poke, soon I'm thinking of taking the FAM to Wyo.

I would suggest going over to WyoNation.com and asking on there since it's been years since I've been up there in the Fall especially late fall.
I'm a moderator on WyoNation.com so...
A better time to go is early summer and the best parts of the state is the two national parks (Yellowstone & Grand Tetons). Jackson is great but it's super crowded in the summer. Think Waikiki but in the foothills of the Rockies.
Re: Does anyone have questions about Wyoming in general?
LOL That is a trap BW.....do not go to WyoNation.com.
